America suffered another 9-11 today: 3157 dead!

And we might have another one tomorrow!

That's right. Just that what caused all those deaths today were not terrorists. It was Covid.

160 more Americans than on 9-11. One American death every 30 seconds!

How long did it take you to open, read, and maybe respond to this post? Let's say it takes you 1 minute. Well, TWO American lives will have been lost during that time.

And our idiot President*? Oh no! Don't bother him.... He's too busy making 45 minute long videos promoting conspiracy theories to explain how he lost the elections and get more donations from gullible supporters. That is certainly more important than 90 Americans who died while recording that video. Most of them because of his incompetence.

Will we have another 9-11 tomorrow? Very likely. Will this President pay any attention to this war that our country is fighting? I doubt it! He's pissed! Not because Americans are dying on his watch.... but because he lost the elections by a landslide.

At what point will he start paying attention? When will he give his "I can hear you! The rest of the world hears you." call? When we have two 9-11s a day? Not even then?

Nothing absolutely NOTHING has been more disastrous to this country than electing Donald Trump.

The fact that this isn't a top story says something about the times we are currently living in. Plainly put, this sort of thing is normal now, it's not the first time we've had this many COVID deaths in a single day, and it probably won't be the last. I know people always complain about how crappy the year was when we near New Years, but this year in particular really has been awful worldwide. I hope we can have a better one next year, but in order to accomplish that we have to get this virus under control.

 

And they don't have the foresight required to notice that that only holds until someone they know dies.

Tell it to all the democrats who go out to eat, go on vacation, sail on their boats, fly on planes or get caught in public without a mask and doing all the things they order us not to do. During all the riots, along with your democrat debates, primaries and even your impeachment hoax, not a single democrat cared one twit about the china virus except to cram the sick elderly into nursing homes where they died a lonely death. The ONLY thing they cared about the china virus was saying it was racist to call it the china virus.

I know someone who died in one of the towers on 911. Does the left even remember what happened on 911, because the last I heard some colleges were calling a moment of silence on that day racist.

Looks like you think that Democrats are more intelligent, and therefore, should know better I understand why you would believe that, but you're wrong. They're not. Not all of them, at least. Those Democrats have the same President as Republicans do. And the consequences of the lack of leadership are endured by everybody. Democrats and Republicans.

Do you understand what "leadership" means? I don't give a CRAP if Trump holds dinner parties or private events... masks or no masks. But he's the President. He needs to do his job. Not just sit there in front of a camera whining for a whole month just because he lost the elections. Act! What is he doing? Is he finding ways to find more hospital beds? Or more personnel for those hospitals? Is he looking for ways to produce more refrigeration equipment that the states are going to need? More refrigerated trucks to carry the vaccines? Is he negotiating to get some relief to the hundreds of thousands of people who have lost their livelihood because of the virus?

Hint: the answer is NO! He's been sitting in front of a camera and whining for a month because he lost the f***ng elections.

The elderly catch colds and flu, and their death rates from cardiac and other associated complications is elevated every year at this time, only now the cause of death will be Covid-19 instead of MI, stroke, PE, renal failure, CHF, etc., that it would have been labeled as in past years, when the precipitating virus was not named SARS-COV-2

 

Yes. I think we'll get to 500,000 deaths until the vaccines start making an impact.
