Burying your head in the sand is not a real debate strategy. How many times has Trump, in this year alone, has said the election would be a fraud? Trump has spent the last five years priming his fans for that glorious day on 1/6/2021. After giving his speech, he ran to the tent to watch the havoc his minions would inflict on the Capitol. If you cannot see the connections, it is because you are willfully ignoring it!!!

You forgot that ANTIFA was assaulting the Capitol 30 minutes before Trump uttered those words and those who heard those words had a 30 minute walk from that point. A few Trump supporters did fall for the encouragement of ANTIFA Agent Provocateurs, but that had nothing to do with the Trump rally. The ANTIFA attack was enabled by Democrats encouraging 156 days of ANTIFA attacks on the US. The Capitol was just day 157 of the violence Democrats gave us for half of 2020.

You are missing the all important, salient ingredient. Without the following ingredient below, everything you expressed could be argued to fall within the Brandenburg test parameters.

Something was driving them to charge the capital? So, what was it? See, whatever that was, it was the engine that drove the thing to rise to insurrection, which resulted in mayhem and death.

The answer is simple, it was anger. Why were they angry? Because Trump has trolled them with the lie, over and over again, rally after rally, that 'dems stole the election'. Imagine the rage you would feel if you honestly believed your opponent stole the election from you?

Now,you alluded to it with the comment about fraud, but you need to drive that point above all else, because rage was the engine of the insurrection, and the dispenser of that rage was Trump, given over a period of months. Failing to understand this point, one will fail to understand why it constitutes insurrection and Trump's speech, over a period of time, as sedition.

See, the one event, January 6 viewed by itself, could fall within the 'Brandenburg test' parameters. But, since Trump has been telling his flock, for a year or more, long before any ballot was cast, that democrat stole the election, ( which has been thoroughly debunked ) he has filled his flock with rage, rage that welled up in volcanic force and erupted with his Jan 6 speech, plus that of DJTjr Giuliani et al.

Without that rage, nothing additional to it has the force necessary to result in insurrection. It would be just a rally.

 

You haven't even begun responding honestly to any of the arguments I've posted, just repetitively emphasizing your funny error in not realizing the Obama-Trump transition WAS in fact the forum of the Trump Inauguration protests that I linked.

Again...the transition BETWEEN Obama and Trump is the transition of their job as president. THAT transition has nothing to do with what citizens did. TWO very SEPARATE things. But for some reason you seem to think they are one in the same. Sorry. Not so much.

Trump is first president to be impeached twice. So he’s got that going for him. I mean...he is big on bragging about being the first or best or only president to do things. Well, now he can add this to his list.
