Republicans had complete control for half his term so blaming “mad dog lefties” isn’t going to cut it.
What do you feel he accomplished that negated what he destroyed or ignored?

agree, had we stopped at the tax rates for the rich under Reagan, we would be doing much better, but the right has been for more and more tax cuts for the rich ever since

The Right isn't in charge of the Presidency, the House, or the Senate.

    Go ahead and raise taxes.

I would love it if dems had the votes, raise taxes back up on the corps 20% and offer corps that do not outsource our jobs a 15% tax break

and give the people the PERMANENT tax cut this time

I'm in favor of the Democrats trying to increase taxes, and if I had my way I would have GOP no votes vote "present" instead.

@MiaBleu Since you screwed up the quote box, I cant quote you so I will just ask how you would complain if Trump told you he would "cure" cancer if elected? Just straight up said just that. Now pretend he said that instead of the new messiah.

Wrong, Republicans NEVER had a large enough majority to work around the Dems. Look up “cloture” and “filibuster”.

That's why I'm chopping at the bit as the GOP splits.

Well, no, not exactly. Not every bill is threatened by filibuster. Bills made it to Trump’s desk all four years. Obama’s first two years came closest to filibuster proof Senate.

I doubt that split will result in GOPers going over to Dems on a continuing basis. The GOP factions have more in common than what splits them.

You are joking, right? You cannot possibly argue that things did not escalate to absolute insanity under - and even now, after - Trump's presidency?

Tribalism and partisan fanboyism are worse than ever before, the DNC and GOP are both worse than ever before and even discussion boards like this are worse than ever before.

No, everything is what it always was. The swamp was not drained.

    Glorious?

    I'd give him an E-.

Ah, is that what did it? Strange — when you go back and look at the bills they couldn’t even get all Republicans to agree to any bills.

I didn't vote about the man I voted based on his policies and what they accomplished so yes.

Yeah If you had had someone halfway competent there would not have been so many deaths. My home state here we have had a total of 6 deaths despite multiple outbreaks - each of which has been contained

Economic policies, trade policies, foreign affairs policies, a wall he built with the only money Pelosi would allocate.

I don't care if YOU don't like his policies I did and repeated the rewards of them and that is all that matters for my vote here and when I voted for him the second time he ran.

Well, it sounds really great - Make America Great Again.
The question is, was this his honest intention or just a catch phrase? :bump:
