Jesus, but the time is flying....

    I'll be 41 this fall...

If anything, I'd like to try wall murals.

When I get off my ass, I gotta help a friend weld a parrot cage, then I'm going fishing this afternoon into evening. Actually have two days off work. I dont mind my weekend being the beginning of everyones week, the fishing spots are not crowded :)

Ah yes, I temporarily forgot about your fishing. So that's a pretty full time hobby as well.

Not much lately, actually. Just did the welding, gonna eat, get ice and beer, net some bait and get to it. It reached 94 a bit ago. Getting to hot to fish in the day.

I gladly plead guity as to microaggresion as to Tattoos,
Getting a Tattoo and who wears a Tattoo.
Tattoos are about the height of downright stupidity.
They do absolutely nothing beneficial for Man.Or woman.
In fact, they are about the only peer pressure issue that
    can claim such dire,allegiance.
Even Trained Hitler youth can claim a benefit as to their
peer pressure and allegiance. They learned how to soldier with
    a like-minded military discipline.
Getting a Tattoo is about the least disciplined activity known
to Modern man.Became popular when drunken sailors on shore
leave felt a bit crazy.I think at one point an officer could be
demoted for having visible tattoos.I know for *fact that in the late 70's,
into the 80's visible tattoos on a persons arms or hand meant they
    could not work as a cashier { taking orders and receiving payment }
or what is known as a counter person.

    Timing is everything, they say.

Made my morning cuppa, and settled in with the cat for a bit of reading this morning, when the storms hit. Power went out for about a half hour, not that I noticed much. Kindles are a wonderful thing. :)

    Who said ... " They said ".
    I need names.Or a Name. I don't believe it was Captain Penny.
A very popular Cleveland Children's version of Captain Kangaroo.
His ending message was ... :
" You can fool some of the people All of the time,
All of the people some of the time,But you can't
    Fool Mom. "

We show our ages on this subject Fooli, and it surprises me that kids and people living hand to mouth will drop big bucks on getting their skin inked. I tend to follow the admonishment in the Bible against marking or modifying your body.

For some people, their tattoos have great meaning, but you usually don't see those.

A friend I have long since lost contact with was an artist, a very good artist. Her to-be-ex-husband burned her artwork out of petty vengeance one day. So she started getting her drawings tattooed, so no one could take them from her.

Some people have their reasons to get them, others just to be 'in'. I judge not, but that doesn't mean I won't look and wonder if they are in exposed areas.

I don't comment on people's tatts, other than here , in a fairly anonymous forum. Now my wife, born and raised in Mexico, has a much lower opinion of tats and the people who get them (and our youngest has more than a few!)

I don't even judge those who wander the halls of anonymous forums, lol. I relayed a story of how one person came to have a lot of tattoos.

Several of my near-and-dear have tatts, some with many. I used to react, until such a time that I realized, their choice, not mine. Not being the religious sort, it has nothing to do with what is said in the Bible, just preference about something that is so...permanent.

I'm old enough to be your parent. Enjoy your 'youth' as it rolls by, and remember, regrets are for things you didn't do. :)

Set in our ways a bit are we? Times, they are a changing. It's not unusual to see professional types with many these days. My last one was over ten years ago and I have no interest in any more. I have about 68, many of which I did myself in my early 20s.

I wonder if Al Pacino or Martin Scorsese have any Tattoos.
I bet they don't.Because they grew up as I did.To think negatively
about Tattoos.Which begs the question ... How many Cardinals in Rome
have Tattoo.Does Rob Reiner have a Tattoo.
How many Modern Jew have Tattoos?
I bet No Orthodox Jew would dare even consider a Tattoo.
    Priests ... Not sure.Rabbis ... Probably not.
A Tattoo symbolizes being undisciplined.Plus selfish.
Catholics are taught { in my day } not to adore others.
Just God.A tattoo is a sign of adoring ones body.A no-no in the
catholic faith.Vanity is NOT a virtue.
