Judge not. You do not know what path a person walks.

A co-worker who lost her first-born child to crib death, has a tattoo of the baby's foot print on top of her foot. Would you call that vanity?

Doctoring-up ones body with Tattoos is nothing short of pure
    adulterated Vanity.
Vanity is almost the opposite of virtue.

Stop talkin' and rationalizing like a teenager.
    Tattoo serve no purpose.Absolutely none.They don't improve
ones character let alone personality. One is not smarter or a better
person { think Social worker or one doing charity work }.
One is not funnier or stronger or more believable.
    Tattoo are just dumb.

My son’s arm. It’s a memorial to his fellow Marines.

I do make exception on Tattoos.A really close buddy of mine
I spent an entire summer working with and partying with { My freshman
year college summer break } had a Tattoo on his arm.He was a chopper
pilot in Vietnam. The tattoo was a pair of boxing gloves.
    There was another Vet also on that job { Landscaping crew }
who had both his arms up and down filthy with the loudest of
Tattoos available.I even remember a few. They were cartoon style
tattoo_One had the words Red Hot.Er something.
That vet was a marine.Hard worker but a real pain to get along with.
I never thought much about Tattoo back then { 1972 }.
I was a budding Hippie. But I always knew that Tattoos weren't for me.
I no longer respect Hippie types today. Some things change and some
things don't.That way the world does go round.

So you screech like a parrot with his tail feathers caught at my post, yet suddenly change your tune when someone else posts the reasoning behind a tattoo.

In respect to this being SMW's house, I will not say what I am actually thinking, but congratulations, you are the first person I have ever put on ignore.

    In your opinion.
Is brushing your hair, buying new clothes etc also "vanity"?

Because you can't handle the God's honest Truth.

in the 50's.No I doesn't.You show your age.

Absolutely this one. Best 200$ you will ever spend. I have this one, have fabricated all kinds of bikes with it. 16 pound DC inverter (much lighter than other AC transformer machines, arc is also more stable) Very similar to MIG but one key difference....it's a WireFeedFluxCoredArcWelder (no bottle of sheilding gas)

Wide range of heat adjustability (instead of just high and low) plenty of heat to do as thick of steel as you are likely to ever need. At Harbor freight. I can't reccomend this enough. Screenshot 2021-05-07 2.18.58 PM.png
