IMO believing in something with no proof whatsoever is the epitome of irrationality. Believing that something one believes exists (but has no proof of) should rule over others is more irrationality.... Believing that a fetus has more rights than any born person is also irrational..
You should keep in mind that not everyone believes as you might believe when it comes to the proposed existence of a Creator. For many science is the determining factor. Nonetheless, your opinion is duly noted.
oh no.. many of them have a faith far beyond my beleif in th eCreator.. they believe, contrary to the math, that the universe spontaneously arose, despite the propability being practically ZERO.
Fertuses do not have any rights at all. Why should she abstain from sex? It is only a potential human being. . And Conservatives mock Leftists for putting feelings over logic. You guys are cringe.
How did he create something out of nothing? And what is it even that he is? God is a metaphysical impossibility.
Then you don't know the meaning of the word "rational". In fact your statement is by definition, irrational.
An infinite number of universes are constantly boiling up from the quantum foam. Our universe was a mathematical certainty.
It isn't punished by law. People get killed by doing stupid stuff all the time. The law does not cause them to suffer. Stop blaming and take some responsibility.
No, that is not how freedoms work. No one is "paying" for anyone else's freedom. Abortion is about rights in a much broader sense than just sexual freedom, it is about the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
But it ultimately does come down to sexual freedom, doesn't it? Because if the woman wanted her freedom, she could just avoid recreational sex with any men she wasn't ready to have a baby with.
So she can have her freedom as long as she gives it up. Just because sex isn't important to you, that doesn't make it unimportant for everyone. Sex is our most basic drive after survival. But not everyone has a sex drive. So you have to allow that explaining the importance of sex may be like trying to explain color to a blind person.
Oh, I don't disagree with you. I was just emphasizing this is actually about sex (and the context within which that sex happens).
No one is saying a woman doesn't have a right to her own life but she should own her mistakes. That does not make her a victim it makes her a responsible adult.
DENIAL of abortion results in the SACRIFICE of the lives of women and mothers. Why does the OP support those sacrifices and which religious deity does the OP want to glorify by sacrificing all of those women and mothers?
