I do not understand your reply. I was referring to my list of Trump's campaign promises that matter most to me. If he managed 2 of the 4 I would have supported him in 2020.

We have an air chuck available to use free. It was explained to me that you go ahead and air up tires for the elderly and handicapped. Grown folks who drive are largely expected to help them selves.

The 23.12% of a border wall paid for NOT BY MEXICO but by the US taxpayer was merely one example of his many broken promises that I offered in factual rebuttal to your position.

When I worked for 2 years for a Century 21 office, in Union City, Ca. This happened. Fortunately it was not normal for this to take place.
The Broker set his office up with divider panels. A desk was mostly hidden from the front of the office for the privacy of our clients.
He had a young woman working for him manning the entry desk. She would screen phone calls too.
I hear a bellow the size of Alaska from in front. A black loud mouth woman was yelling at her.

Now her job was to help with calls since most of the time, most of the agents were out in the field. I happened to be in the office.
I was worried the woman at our desk was about to get hit. I stood up to make my presence noticed. The black woman then yelled at me. She had something on her mind she wanted. I could not supply it. The woman clerk could not either. We told her to leave or face some cops. Anyway the damnedest things happen when dealing with blacks. I never had any white person pull that stunt ever.

 

Given all the promises Trump did keep, I apologize for not being petty about the wall. And he got how many miles of the wall built did you claim?

How many millions or was it Billions Biden handed to the French over their boondoggle over Climate?

How many billions were lost by Biden to the Taliban?

 

He had no capability to get Mexico to pay for infrastructure in the United States. His promise that Mexico would pay was flatly a lie. And regardless of the "effort" he may have put into it, it is still a broken promise. The larger discussion -- for context -- is about the OP's suggestion that Trump was so good at keeping his promises. My position with regard to the wall is a factual rebuttal to that argument.

Low class come in all colors but yes, the majority of difficult and 'entitled' individuals tend to be black. But certainly not all, just about 75% if I had to put a number on it. They rarely tip either.

He repeated this phrase so much during the campaign I thought he had already made some kind of deal with President Fox that he was going to unveil upon his victory. I find it amusing you consider my suggestion that a public official should demonstrate some measure of integrity as "petty." He also promised to release his tax returns "when the audit was over." And that we would find them to be "beautiful." Face it, Trump is no different than any politician -- telling what you want to hear so he gets your vote and then literally walking away from his platform 14 minutes post-inauguration. This does not make him unique, it just makes him a politician: Something he told us he wasn't -- another broken promise. He turned out to be wallowing in the swamp he promised to drain: Another broken promise. He told us he was so rich he didn't need to take campaign contributions -- thus he couldn't be "owned." Another broken promise...

They have been great customers, great employees and many Democratic politicians as well as Republicans have been helpful in dealing with legal disputes and issues regarding my businesses. Adam Schiff’s and Ted Lieu’s offices have both responded to issues several times. Same with Republican Councilman John Lee.

 

I think you have just hit the nail on the head: It is pathetic that we accept a government where it is a novelty when the people to whom we hand the public trust through the ballot box actually do what they say they are going to do. NB: My position has nothing to do with the wall itself as I tried to explain to you by providing you the context of my ongoing discussion with @Robert who claimed Trump was so amazing at keeping his promises.

What I'm saying is this, the sense of entitlement and expectation is indicitive of folks mentality these days....She brought nothing, got free service and still managed to complain.

I don't even expect a tip but a "thank you" is common where and how I was raised. Your experience may vary.

I do not judge any politician by him or her keeping 100 percent of things we tend to call promises. Trump indeed made a hell of a lot of noise that he would get Mexico to pay.
I am 83. I heard this kind of noise from far too many politicians over my long history as a voter.

Those who expect the batting average of promises kept are living in a dream state.

 

I did for a long long time. I woke up. Can't make me go back to Democrats now.

What I find so amusing is now they actually quote Mitt Romney. I voted for Mitt but today i am filled with remorse at how he hated Trump.
