And yet, as we went over yesterday in the poll you so amusingly cited, a majority of respondents identifying as Republican believe there was fraud in the last election, and the vast majority of GQP politicians are running on "election integrity" based on that lie, just as they run on border security based on lies about that.

As I've stated several times now: she breached the final police barricade protecting the lawmakers from a violent mob and she encouraged the violent mob to follow her. She was a few feet from the people that the mob was threatening. In other situation, you'd be fine with a lethal shot in this kind of scenario.

Try it out for yourself. If you and your family were trying to escape a violent mob chanting for your lynching, and this mob had already injured over 100 of your security officers, and there was only one barricade remaining between you and that mob, and you and your family were being evacuated, and then suddenly someone breached the barrier and was encouraging the mob to follow her, would you be okay with lethal force?

Be honest. Does it make you a Nazi if you say yes?

 

Don't laugh. Stay angry. The GQP needs you to be angry and not thinking.

She was protesting and got caught up in the riot. Protests turning to riots is pretty common, but it isn’t justification for killing unarmed citizens.

i think to imagine the protest at the Capital in January as an “ insurrection” or “sedition” someone has to have very limited life experiences. They certainly didn’t live through the 60s, that’s for sure.
