How many times does it have to be repeated the LOCAL authorities, in this case the Mayor of DC and Capital Hill leadership have to REQUEST such intervention. It ALL starts with THEM. It is the SecArmy that issues the official order to call them up ONLY after that OFFICAL request has been made.

Will this committee investigate why that security was not there and why the request before and on the day were delayed AT THE CAPITAL? I highly doubt it.

 

Trump was being taken to the secure family quarters in the White House by the Secret Service and US Marshalls who were fighting the rioters at the fence line. You see they had proper security in place and protected the WH and stopped them from breeching it. Over 60 law enforcement were injured. People were arrested by guess what? the Biden DOJ has dropped all charges against them. Of course the next day when Trump visited the park the MSM and left attacked him for doing so and attacked him and government for actually putting down the riot.

Where on earth do you get the idea the Mayor and DC Municipal Police or domestic law enforcement in any state report to the President and act under his orders? What utter nonsense. Are you even aware of Posse Comitatus? Are you saying the Mayor and DC Police did not know there was a riot going on? They had been warned by the various departments of the Executive Branch, DOJ FBI HSA, for weeks. And YES even Trump advised them, the Mayor and Capital Hill leadership, they should make their request days before so that that security could be called up and on the scene that day. It was the Mayor who put it in writing DO NOT SEND TROOPS.
