    Yes. You claimed I said "active duty" which is a military term. I wrote "active service" which is not, and I explained that choice in a subsequent post.

    Actually, they were surprised by the electoral college victory.


    The failed casino operator being defeated by over 7 million votes in 2020, having won by -2.8 million votes 4 years earlier, is a tribute to the value of actual experience. Four years of trumpery trumps four years of Bidin' time.

    The 2024 election will be distinguished by negative motivations. A majority of Americans want neither, but you can't always get what you want.

    The loser persisting in lying about an election certified by 50 states, and instigating a goon attack on outnumbered police defending democracy, poses a very difficult challenge for Biden to outdo.

    Debating which is more senile than the other old geezer is futile. Knowing who the president is is a basic test of mental competence that the President passes, and the other guy still struggles with.

    Obviously, Trump had an electoral path. Given the popular sentiment, it was all he had.

    SIS (Senior Intelligence Service) is the CIA analogue to DoD's SES (Senior Executive Service). Obviously, it takes some years to attain such rank, but you'd be surprised who goes where.

    One of my best friends and greatest mentor died an LTG. I have 26 West Point brothers who are Generals. Another is a Congressman in a district next to mine. Lloyd Austin and I were roommates at one time. I don't think I'd be surprised at all.
