To be fair, I have to assume that Ford's commercial was filmed before the bud light fiasco. They can't be that stupid. Stupid was going ahead with the commercial instead of cutting your losses or perhaps editing it to be less ridiculous. Unless there is some sort of federal tax incentive for a company to do this?

If you can't identify the things you see, it must be hell. Others speak for themselves with their conduct. I describe what I see, and many times that doesn't fit with them, because they aren't willing to look at themselves. Such people may strongly resent that others don't see what they want you to. You can be whatever kind of person you wish, but telling us you are something else may not sell.

The challenge of growing is finding out who you are and what you have. A lot of people have no idea who they are, but admitting that gets you disrespected in society... so they don't, and they fake it. ,
People's words tell you what they want you to believe- and what they may want to believe, even knowing it's not so. Their actions tell you who they are.
If you don't know who you are- you probably listen to their words. I listen to their actions. Often unpopular. Accurate and very useful, but unpopular.

Politics is hardly something we enjoy hassling over- the only reason to focus on it is the corruption, the incompetence and the injustice which it seems to think is its purpose.
The question isn't if it's needed, but how accurately we see it, and how we can correct what needs fixing.

I'd love for the government to just do its job, and get the hell out of the way of people trying to manage their lives.

 

I’m just American, one who understands the atrocities the US government has done and continues to do. Pride is something I typically reserve for my children or my wife.

The only time I’ve had their food is when my company had them cater our meetings. To tell you the truth, it was nothing special, I prefer Popeyes when I eat fast food chicken which is very, very rare. The two Chick-fil-a joints in my town are so popular that their drive troughs cause traffic to be backed up on the main roads they’re on. I now wondering if going woke will make that traffic worse or better.
