Corporations taking sides on social and ideological issues is always risky, and one would think that when you get yourself clobbered for getting outside your lane in that way, you would learn.... But, no.

Target Corporation is partnering with a K-12 education group which focuses on getting districts to adopt policies that will keep parents in the dark on their child's in-school gender transition, providing sexually explicit books to schools for free, and integrating gender ideology at all levels of curriculum in public schools, Fox News Digital uncovered.

I’ll just avoid target for now on. Plenty of other choices.

There is a word for this, pandering. I see it in the business culture these days. This rush to hide bigotry in the effusing of wokism. I suspect that for many corporations, they have DEI VPs telling the boards that if you don't rush to support the latest fantasy "ism" the radicals will start suing them...So, guilt hiding leads to approvals for these ventures into the swirly waters surrounding how much "tolerance and love" will come back to bite them in the marketplace...

Democrats aren’t good at this, generally speaking. Republicans do much better, even when advertised right from The Oval Office. Chick Fil A also did well. Ivanka’s clothing line, advertised for free by a WH spokesperson on Fox. Maybe not the pillow guy.

The pillow guy messed up by plunging his company into politics - always a bad idea.

The latest corporation to Crap themselves this way is- North Face, the popular sport clothing brand.

"Hi, it’s me, Pattie Gonia, a real-life homosexual," a mustachioed drag queen clad in rainbow apparel says in the ad for the company's "Summer of Pride" tour and clothing collection.

Oh, yeah. Really makes me want to be seen sporting anything that says "North Face" on it. And drinking a Bud Light too.

Have to love liberal I have a business degree types screwing their company's owners/stockholders by trying to be so politically correct. How many billions in losses will it take to put a stop to it?

This isn't a losing strategy for all businesses. Bud Light should have known that their target audience is bigoted white trash. It was a very bad move for them to take a stance on any remotely progressive issue. If Bud Light wanted to sell beer, it should have put the swastika on its cans.

But bigoted white trash tend to shop at Wal-Mart instead of Target. I think Target will be fine. But I suppose we'll see.

At least we know that you aren't bigoted, don't we?

Your remarks are obviously predicated on your ability to think.....
    And that is another question.

It's being taught in business schools today that companies have a social responsibility to the community.

The only thing that makes sense is they think free market will soon be replaced by social credit and they're buying in early. Won't matter what you think of Target if cash is worthless and they're the only ones your bank will process digital payments to. Want beer? You get Bud Light from Target (or make it yourself). You and I (and Target and Bud Light) know which option most people will take.

    The future of resistance:

My c**k sucking wife was at target earlier. She called me to ask if I needed anything, and even I, a well known homophobic failed to scream at her "are you nuts, get the **** out of there!" I totally forgot about this in the moment. We all need to focus.

We are delving that direction, but we are a long way off. It’s been just recently defeated. Requiring citizens to buy a product from State approved for-profit corporations was put into law, but almost immediately shut down by SCOTUS, who was then, far less conservative than it is, now.

Our debt will implode us long before that type of policy grabs hold.

That type of policy will be adopted to 'save us' from the collapse caused by our debt imploding, as it has been designed to do. SCOTUS may not have much say in the matter if all but a handful of banks go under and those left standing simply refuse to service 'bigoted' (read: not politically correct) businesses.

And they do- but it's damn sure not promoting perversion.
Nor is it their first duty, which is to do well and produce a return for the people who invested in it.

The "community" is not very smart, because it consists of both the people who makes things work, the people who feed off others, and the people so preoccupied with themselves and their issues that the only thing they want from others is approval of their dysfunctions.

Being homosexual is not the problem- insisting you must show the world a shitshow and demand they endorse it is.

As another poster said, corporations have a responsibility to the community- and it is to support solid values and stability, not perversion.

Virtue signaling about transvestites is not "social responsibility". Paying your employees a living wage, not employing foreign child labor and not demolishing the environment of 3rd world nations for profit is "social responsibility". Companies like Target are completely down for the virtue signaling, not so much the things that cost actual resources and are actually socially responsible. Given that BlackRock won't give them short term financing unless they virtue signal, how can we blame them? The idea that financial institutions can bankrupt massive corporations unless they virtue signal is peak clown world.

What if Target or any clothing seller started selling clothes specifically designed for the criminal element? Multiple inside hidden pockets for shoplifters, places for your weapons, ways to conceal identity or quick-change your appearance to help escape.

Those people are part of the community too- and the behavior of our politicians seems to be saying deviants of all kinds are equal citizens of society and entitled to be pandered to.
Personally, I think that serves the self interest, that we should tolerate the deviant practices of unscrupulous politicians and applaud them for it.

I see little difference in marketing goods for the sexual deviants in our society and the criminal deviants.

When we set precedents by departing from principle values, we turn them into rubber band rules that have no ability to maintain the quality of society, and that means we lower our standards across the board; we diminish everyone. An intelligent person would never support that.

Target lost 9 billion in 6 days following the release of their queer products targeting children. I don't think they'll be fine with decisions such as that.
