You say that it is against the rules to "slander" a class of people. Does that mean it is against the rules to refer to the WW2 Nazis as bigots? I know you put yourself into a real bind here but please just answer the question or accept that your made up rule is dumb and would lead to absurd results.

It is only bigotry if it is irrational. But it isn't irrational because now we have proof that the target demographic of Bud Light is bigoted. And that proof is the fact that these people literally stopped buying Bud Light because they put a trans person on their can.

Bud Light is simply not good beer and I am rich enough to afford better beer. But sure I guess that makes me insecure.

I guess if you measure the qualify of a person by their level of irrational prejudice you could say that Bud Light drinkers are better than me. Again, these are people who are so hateful against trans people that they stopped purchasing their beer of choice out of spite.

I don't think he plunged the company into it so much as he plunged himself and took the company with him. I think he made the classic mistake of thinking all the internet fervor in support of Trump translated into a huge base of customers that would support him and through him, MyPillow. The problem with these companies going woke is not that they're going woke, it's that they're doing it too soon. Eventually the younger generations will be the main consumers and while they may not all be woke, they will make their purchases under different dynamics than the generations that came before them. These companies appealing to the wokeness are doing the wise thing for their brand and long term strategy, they're just doing it too soon The consumer base hasn't shifted enough yet. Their appeals are not appealing to enough people yet and the counter-effect still has too big of a base to be ignored.

Exactly. Bud light chose to associate it's image with an extremist trans. Most people don't want to be in that kind of company- and disassociated themselves from it. Really isn't related to the taste of the beer, more like refusing to flock with the turkeys.
