How about being honorable enough to admit you made some pretty glaring mistakes in your claims from what type of weapons to one being pointed at a baby's head?

If you have all those killing-machines people will get killed, and they do. Get wise and stop 'em getting killed. The need to kill animals can quite easilly be overcome, honest. It is only a way of building up the insecure.

Go for a walk in the mountains of Alaska and see if you still believe that guns aren't necessary for shooting animals.

Are you willing to go to the relatively poor households who count on wild game to put meat on the table and tell them that they will have to do without because you are afraid of guns?

The insecure one is the person who is so afraid of guns that he wants to take them away from the millions of legal gun owners just to alleviate his fear of a little piece of metal.

Wow, what a set of assumptions. I've been a gun owner since age 16 (age 46 now). I have threatened exactly 0 people with them. I've aimed them at exactly 0 people, and I've shot at exactly 0 people. I shot a squirrel with one once, but other than that, my only shots have been at targets. I'm probably pretty typical of firearms owners. About half of the U.S. adult population lives in a household with a gun. Almost none of them participate in crime of any sort.

I think he must want farmers to start poisoning deer instead of shooting them.

The best part of that second picture is the look of mild terror on Santa's face. Look at his eyes. Clearly the man thinks those parents are disturbed.

And if they are used to pour hot lead into the Obama voter trying to break in and steal your TV or rape your wife, it's even better.

How... how can you not recognize the difference between the AK-47 (and related models) and, well, pretty much anything else? It's a rather distinctive and well publicized family of guns. Hell, it's the only assault rifle to make it onto a national flag!

LOL... Um, lady, you're holding it backwards....

Anyway, yeah, some people are obsessed with guns, but I don't see that as being any worse than the people so obviously, pathologically afraid of them.

They're just tools, people. Deal with it.

If a kid sees a gun, he's not going shoot his eye out.

It's not like they're letting toddlers or preteens fire weapons at the range.

Freedom comes with a price. Some people are statistical outliers and do things that separate them from the norm in a society. But to point out the statistical outlier and use it as the basis to stereotype the society as a whole is just wrong.

What about the rancher in Montana who shoots the wolves that are preying upon his herd? What should he do? Bow and arrows? Slingshot and rocks?

Or perhaps he and the wolves should sit down and try to reconcile their differences...

    Mak...

If you belong to a Jaguar automobile club, you get your picture taken with Santa and a Jaguar. If you belong to a golf club, you get your picture taken with Santa and some golf clubs. If you belong to a skydiving club, you get your picture taken skydiving with Santa. Why is this any different?

If you and all the employees at Macca's get your picture taken with Santa, what does that say about all the people who die from eating a diet of high-fat junk food?

Gun owners posing with firearms and Santa carries the same message as strippers posing nude with Santa.

Yeah, ok. I bet if you polled prisons they'd be overwhelmingly GOP supporters /rollseyes.

Look, most people vote democrat to take stuff from someone else. Do the math. The last survey I saw was from 1996, and it found that 93% of the prison population supported Clinton.

In fact, I don't think there is any characteristic that prisoners are more likely to have in common than being a democrat. It transends race and class. Being a democrat is the leading indicator of being a criminal.

    http://online.wsj.com/article/SB10001424052748704518904575365063352229680.html

Now obviously, not all democrats are felons. But I'd never let a democrat near my children by choice.

That statistic also gives some insight into why democrats are so against the 2nd amendment. They are the ones shot by honest Americans defending their property.

This is again antagonistic propaganda, it causes the opposite effect. That people get sick of weapons when they see such pictures. This system/empire does not like masses of people with fire arms, wants to disarm them. That is the reason why they attack the fire arm in such a silly way.
This has more, also an attack on christianity, santa claus with heavy armed females and kids (we clearly near 2012, insanity/propaganda is increasing)

I have to agree with this. When I tell people I have firearms in the house I offer to let them see them if they wish and let them know that they need to ask me before dealing with them (I always keep them unloaded but people are not taught basic firearm safety, which, if taught in our schools, could easily save lives). Most people are fine with it ("yes I'd like to see them" or "no I'm good") but I've had two people freak out as though the guns were going to pop out into the room and kill everyone in there. I've never understood how someone could be so scared of an object. It takes extreme propaganda and ignorance of reality to get to that point. The vast, vast, vast majority of firearms owners will never wield them against another person and over 99% of bullets fired are not fired at humans. To see firearms as death machines and nothing more is pure ignorance. To be so afraid that you cannot so much as be in the same room with one and not panic is madness.

I am not a gun person, wouldn't have a clue what kind of gun it was unless you told me...or it was mentioned on MacGyver.

I am more than happy to admit that while the gun LOOKS to me to be pointed at the childs head, it is, in fact, pointed away from the child.

It also shows that Republicans are perfectly willing to lie about statistics to insult Democrats. Republicans really ought to be separated from their children, for the the good of the children. I mean, in many respects, Republicans aren't really human beings at all. They're some sub-human offshoot.

Gun control and gun rights are issues that I have trouble developing a stance on. The issue rides the slippery slope between ensuring freedom at the risk of rampant vengance, and government tyranny. For a moderate like myself, all I can say is leave it up to the states.
