I honestly should care...but don't. The Cheney regime burnt out all of my last vestiges of caring about the office of the Presidency. I felt powerless beneath the "mandate" of evil and now that Republicans are having to deal with a president they don't like...the evil, vindictive part of me just pretty much is apathetic to the whines.

However, I will say that when older materials like the one 'Doon presented has him listed as of Kenyan birth it doesn't do much to dissuade people who don't believe he's from the US. Rather than avoid and deflect on the subject it is easy enough to ask one of the interns or other flunkies prove it in such a definitive way that there would be egg on their face. It is stupid to act as though there is something to hide.

That said the dismal crop of Americans who we have to choose from makes me wish that Russia could annex us because at least Putin's shown the capability to not only resurrect a dying superpower, but he can like 1) put out forest fires from a fighter jet, 2) judo chop the hell out of Japanese experts, 3) fight off tigers, 4) save whales, and 5) ride horseback in the cold shirtless...and all that is just icing on the cake.

because they have already verified obama's birth in hawaii. This will be ignored, and obama will still be on the ballot.

He got the same response from Michigan as he got from Hawaii:

"A Michigan spokeswoman said the state's Department of Community Health will provide verification of a candidate's birth certificate to anyone through an application process."

    That was in TFM's post.

So the REAL question is, based on that one statement from Michigan: Why did Romney "seal" his birth records?

And of course this is a completely unverified, unsourced statement, based on nothing but your ODS - Obama Derangement Syndrome.
Because you wouldn't be satisfied... You would simply declare Bennet or whomever to be "part of the conspiracy." That's what you birthers do. It's part of the pathology.
Obama was on the ballot, ipso facto, whatever he provided to AZ satisfied them. Is that difficult for you?

Jan Brewer, when she was Sect of State for Arizona, certified that Barrack Obama met the Article II requirements for being a presidential candidate in 2008. No further certification is required at this time as Obama has already been certified by the State of Arizona as a legal candidate for the office of the President.

Well said, seems like that should end the discussion right? Lol..

I hope the Right continues pursueing this. I am no political strategist but I would imagine that attempting to take the presidents name off the ballot will not sit well with independents. Just more attempts of republican obstructionism.. but this one goes too far.

Why doesn't that sorry sack of crap Bennet just realize that he does not make the rules for other states and that he is, by insisting that another state do something that is inconsistant with the law, while serving as a campaign official for a party with an interest in knocking Obama off the ballot, committing elections fraud?

And where the hell does that sorry sack of crap Arpaio think he gets the authority to strong-arm Hawaii?

The GOP no longer stands for the rule of law in america.

It is entirely up to the state to decide how they will verify that a candidate meets the article II requirements. If the state choose that a candidate must be re-certified every election cycle that is the states prerogative. You seem to not care about states rights.

Nope sorry, this is birtherism and HI has already released his legal birth certificate Arizona must accept it and must put Obama on the ballot. States rights in this case are bunk anyway.

FF&C says Arizona must be forced to accept HI word and BC. It does not matter they want more proof. FEDERAL law says otherwise and we all know FEDERAL law trumps state law 10 out of 10 times.

I wish that I could just say 'My information is posted online' when some official requires identification and/or documentation. Sorry no dice. Officer a picture of my license is posted on-line. Yeah that will fly.

Full faith and credit doesn't say how the state must accept licensing and documentation from another state. What is acceptable under the full faith and credit clause is entirely the prerogative of the state. They may accept affirmation from an official of the other state or they may require a certified copy documentation in had or have some other standard, either or such standards are perfectly acceptable and still valid under the full faith and credit clause.

You seem to not have a clue what you are talking about and just like to throw around terms to make yourself feel smart. Sorry you are wrong in more ways than one.

Nope sorry FF&C says arizona must accept HI BC without question. HI certified it and thats the end of it. Arizona does not have power to dictate how other states handles their own affairs. Once again the FEDERAL government injects common sense in another rapidly anti-American state.

Full faith and credit means that Arizona must give deference to Hawaii on this issue. Hawaii has already said - on innumerable occasions - that their records confirm Obama's Hawaiian birth. That's all Arizona needs.

Indeed. Selection of Presidential Electors is 100% up to the state. The don't even need to hold ANY CAUCUS OF THE VOTERS. Every facet of the AZ process is up to AZ.

That is not what the full faith and credit clause says nor any law. I'm going to conclude that like most leftists you have never had to actually work with full faith and credit between states and the various standards of each state. Every state is free to place their own standard on what they will accept from the other state. In some cases affirmation is enough. In other cases the require a copy. Federal law allows for states to have a copy in hand. For a state to require an authenticated copy does not violate full faith and credit nor does it violate federal statute around full faith and credit.

"The Acts of the legislature of any State, Territory, or Possession of the United States, or copies thereof, shall be authenticated by affixing the seal of such State, Territory or Possession thereto.
The records and judicial proceedings of any court of any such State, Territory or Possession, or copies thereof, shall be proved or admitted in other courts within the United States and its Territories and Possessions by the attestation of the clerk and seal of the court annexed, if a seal exists, together with a certificate of a judge of the court that the said attestation is in proper form.
Such Acts, records and judicial proceedings or copies thereof, so authenticated, shall have the same full faith and credit in every court within the United States and its Territories and Possessions as they have by law or usage in the courts of such State, Territory or Possession from which they are taken."

Well Hawaii first must give Arizona word that his birth certificate is legit and present them a certified copy per Hawaii statutes. So far they have not done so.

My understanding is all Hawaii said is we would be happy to just fill out the appropriate paperwork and make a valid request like everyone else. Arizona is not above the law.

Only to the ignorant. States rights was the breakwater against nationalized slavery and later nationalized segregation. I guess it makes you feel all warm and fuzzy inside being so misinformed.

    Ignorance is bliss.

Repeat the racist mating call all you want. Arizona still has to follow the law just like everyone else. If that idiot Bennett doesn't know how to follow instructions and fill out paperwork like everyone else that's his problem.

So when Southerners were trying to force slavery on free states and later partially succeeded in Dread Scott states rights was the cry of the racist.

You are a racist who is woefully ignorant of our history.

    Fragment

    You mean "too"

You need punctuation here. A coma will work.

If you use the word "causes" then you don't need the word "does".

If you keep the word does, then you can eliminate the s and just say "cause".

Since we are all stupid and stuff, I thought I would help you out with a little grammar.
