Overzealous Texas cop runs wild at pool party

Why do you keep pretending that the people who were actually there are lying? The cops were not called on kids who were "peacefully standing around" ...they were called on trespassers who had assaulted 2 security guards, a mother in front of her children, and refused to leave when they were asked...what part of that are you not getting?

 

To save the village, we had to burn it down....

 

This video clip seems kind of like a litmus test - half the cops the media have quoted thought this guy was out of control, half thought his actions appropriate.

The distinction seems to be between whether the pool party was becoming dangerous and police attention was needed (initial verdict: yes) and whether the way this particular cop went about it was near the optimum method of defusing the situation (initial verdict: no). There is also the question of whether the callers were reporting what was happening, or whether they were reporting what they were afraid might happen, or whether their interpretation of what was happening more nearly approximated their fears, or the actual reality.

And yes, like it or not, a bunch of older white folks seeing a bunch of teenagers horsing around IS going to see something very different if those teenagers are black or if they're white. We filter our observations through our expectations.

 

So you didn't see that large white male approach the cop swiftly from his blindside, assume a fair imitation of an a frame stance and reach behind his back? Look again. Just before the cop draws his gun which causes said large white male to beat feet followed by 2 cops. After which the cop holsters his gun.
From peripheral vision that would be quite threatening especially in a large and moblike crowd who have already assaulted multiple people and are quite unruly when your hands are full of a (*)(*)(*)(*)(*)y 15 year old who just got done assaulting a woman. See my earlier link.

 

I never said that they lied. There seems to have been a fight before the police arrived. I never said otherwise. But both videos (the mainstream video and the Breitbart video) shows the officer being the only aggressor.

 

Then came back the next night and vandalized the neighborhood, including houses and vehicles.

They're all future astronauts though. And all so sweet.

You must understand, he is a benevolent white supremacist who feels guilty about his white privilege. So in order to think well of himself he ingages in soft bigotry of low expectations for those groups he deems victimized by the superiority of whiteness. .

 

There is a second video showing part of a fight that may or may not be the same girl from video with the police. It's hard to say if it's the same girl or not the bikinis looked similar but I didn't really compare and contrast. You may want to watch it if you haven't seen it but watching it just left me with more questions than answers.

Taking down a suspect (14 or not, Trayvon was 16 or whatever and was as big as I am) in a crowd of people who CLEARLY don't respect your authority is dangerous. How hard would it be for one of them to walk up and grab his gun? Or 10 to walk up and beat his ass, then grab his gun?

And before you ask 'would you want them slamming your daughter', YES. Abso****inglutely. If she ignored the orders the first few times, then turned to face the officer after being told to leave, slam away. She'll learn the easy way or the hard way.
