read the dam statements made by the adults from the pool and the neighbors if you think it was just a fight

My parents knew I was a little smart ass who talked his way into more than one fight growing up. They told me to fight it in court not the street. If a cop decides your going to jail it's not a question of if it's a question of how beat up do you want to be when you get there. Like it or not even in the age of video cops beat the (*)(*)(*)(*) out of people who resist and fight. Sure you still have freedom of speech but a smart mouth and a bad attitude will get your ass kicked. Doesn't mean it's right that's just the way the world is.

Cops aren't super heroes they are normal people who have good and bad days. But one thing is for sure don't listen to what they tell and you're going to have a very bad day, just ask the kids in the video.

No, he wasn't dispersing a crowd. He allowed many people to mill about without saying anything. I saw no "crowd". Crowd implies a group of people acting as one. There were just people standing around in various pockets. There was nothing to disperse. It is clear he went after the girl because of something she said.

And btw, as a police officer, if you want your orders to be coherent, don't repeatedly lace them with profanity like, "*******n, your asses, etc."

excessive force is never allowed, video will make cops think twice about using excessive force imo

but this case was more about a cop losing his cool and losing control, flying in so many directions that no one knew for sure what he wanted them to do, swearing at people, ect..

So they were all one skin color that doesn't make it racist. Please explain the racism. Where does the cop imply that the white race is superior to the black race? I must have missed that part of the video.

That's still not racism, brother. It's being prejudiced or biased. Racism is overused and used in the wrong context daily now because it garners the most attention... So is bigot. The words people should be using is prejudice and bias. As many times as you hear "eh," I hear "hey yawl." So I feel your pain there. I chuckle about it.

racist - a person who believes that a particular race is superior to another.
prejudice - preconceived opinion that is not based on reason.
biased - unfairly prejudiced for or against someone or something.

The difference between cops and civilians is that cops are there to gain control of a situation by any means necessary. Civilians usually can't without facing trouble.

Uh.... look at the video with your own eyes instead of relying on hearsay. Can you point out any behavior that warrants being handcuffed or thrown to the ground (among the other things that the crazed officer did)?

I read all of it. It seems that the officer did, indeed, overeact.

Oh, was there loud music aside from the little fight? Is that why tasers were pointed at peacefully-behaving kids? Keep reaching for excuses.

the ones milling around lived there they where the neighbors the adults trying give the cops their statement about what went on but the cops couldn't till they was able to disperse the crowd. see all you know is that one vid you refuse to read any of the statements made by the adults that were at the pool and the neighbors why they were telling those kids to leave to go home you refuse to put any of it in context
didn't you learn a dam thing from the hands up don't shot bull crap how every one fly's of the handle before they had all the information and put it into context

It's pretty clear we have had different experiences with cops because this is the way they responded when I was growing up. One are two cool ones and a couple of dick heads. Personally I don't see excessive force and if swearing hurt them they probably shouldn't go near a construction site. It gets close when he grabs the first boy who tried to run but he gave that girl ample warning and she wouldn't listen. I think he didn't have any cuffs to restrain her that's why he stayed on her. If I remember correctly he got off her as soon as another cop arrived and gave him cuffs.

Ok, I can definitely get behind those definitions. Prejudice and Racism can be very closely mistaken with each other. Racism as purposeful prejudice based on race. Thanks :)

Maybe you don't understand how this works. The police get a call. The police show up. The police run into resistance. The police call backup.

No you did not... if you had you would know there was more to it than just "loud music and a little fight"! I guess assault on security guards is alright to you if you can use it as an excuse to accuse the responding officers of racism!

And brutality ensues. Most of us know how it works. It's all in the video. Watch it again.

The cop slammed a 14-year-old girl down to the ground. Nothing that you mentioned, true or not, justifies such brutality.

yes I see many reason why that girl needed to be put down she repeatedly ignored orders to leave she repeatedly ignored orders to sit her ass down she repeatedly argued with the police she jerked away when the cop grabbed her arm to get her to sit
you lie if you read all of them like you are claiming you would have also known it wasn't just one fight. the crowd assaulted security guards, they attacked a mother as she walked her kids to the car, they destroyed property, they jumped fences, they trespassed, and refused to leave when asked

I saw a cop run after a 14 year old girl (WHO WAS FARTHER AWAY FROM THE POINT THE OFFICER TOLD HER TO LEAVE), and single her out for something dozens of other people were doing in the vid. Using her speech.

    Thread backfire.

Everyone in the neighborhood said the kids were out of control. A vehicle was stolen and crashed into other vehicles. Houses have been vandalized. How kids were jumping over fences, pushing security guards, fighting, destroying property.

    It is really sad....

That you along with every other liberal jump to conclusions because some headline told you to before you even know the story.

Hope you feel like a real piece of (*)(*)(*)(*). You won't, cause you'll just be distracted by the next headline you read, but.... One can hope.

No, not at all, unless you can't prove it and your post is just a deflection.
