Well, these days I only smoke when the time is right, I'm in the right place and I'm with the right people....

2-3 times a year at most...

I started smoking when I was like 12.... Wow that was pretty crazy because I can remember the first time I really ever got stoned - that was a weird and wild experience.....

Yeah the wind is nasty to. Like 20-30mph. Even the dog hurries back to the door. I am glad I got all of my running around to do. As I'm not going out in it.....until tonight that is.

At least its getting to be daylight around 6am now. I have always hated that time change thingy.

Yea, I need a double hoodie and a jacket and hat just to walk a few blocks to the store...... It's really funny tho because when I walk to the store I have the wind at my back and it's not that bad (I'm even hot) and walking back I have that nasty (*)(*)(*)(*) right in my face and icicles hanging from my nose and beard... lol

Later this week it's supposed to be like 50 lol....

I hate the winter....

We only have 6 weeks left of this crazy (*)(*)(*)(*) tho.....

 

Yeah and I can't wait to see Old Man Winter moving off. Last night when I went out it was so cold you didn't even want to breathe that (*)(*)(*)(*) in. Getting older hasn't helped. Stuff cuts thru one like a knife. Nose doesn't stop running. Moving slower the whole deal. Sucks.

It was so bad it would cause your eyes to water which then the tears would freeze on your face and in the corner of your eyes.

Then on my way home....doncha know it. Here is some health nut out jogging wearing a Nordic track suit. I'm like dude run indoors in one spot or something. But give it a break with the Ironman routine.

Oh and don't even think of tripping or falling over in front of my car either.

 

Well, I have been through worse, the winter before last was brutal, hell even last winter was brutal - all winters are brutal... lol..

Then the guy at the store is like "dude it's winter suck it up" - I'm like you're either a masochist, stupid or believe you're macho.... lol...

These retards that drive 50 in a blizzard or jog in a track suit really annoy me....

 

Yeah last year with the snow now this year with the cold. I rather have it cold. But not minus 20. I really don't go out much other than for work and running to the store. But now this will be first year getting back out there and being out and about.

Its been like that for almost ten years. First the kids move out and then the OL and I started living separate lives. Now thats going to be permanent. I think we will be able to bring it to the official end in about a year and half if not sooner.

Then I will be back in the saddle with a 3rd home. So I will be out looking into that this year. What sucks was I used my VA loan with my first marriage and ended up leaving her with a Home in Oak Lawn. Now I will be leaving this one after 17 years.

This next one.....I wont be giving up until I check out. Which then I will leave it to my sons to do whatever they want with it.

 

Dang, y'all are making me cold. Last week was heater in the morning, a/c in the afternoon. 32 to 75 all in one day. Crazy, but better than cold COLD!

For me???? What a thoughtful Valentines Day gift!

 

Well we don't have a hurricane.....but we do have snow coming down and I do mean its coming down. Temps rose up a bit from the negative temps and now we are getting dumped on. Its definitely not going to be a day for driving. Nor will they have it all plowed and salted by tonight.

Looks like a blizzard outside with the way the wind is blowing. Guess you know what that means.

You're Right about that. Its been snowing for over 4 hrs. We are over 4 inches of snow easily and its still coming down. I went out and shoveled the drive and walks. Plus a place in the yard for the dog to take care of his duty. But it is cold out there to.....went thru the gloves I was wearing which were thin winter gloves. The wind is down some but it still cold enough to make my eyes water.

Plow trucks went by a couple of hrs ago. Haven't seen any since. Whatever they did is now covered with 2 or 3 inches of snow. The Southside of Chicago, Suburbs and NW Indiana is taking the hit from Old Man winter this day and night.

 

Poor baby! Bundle up if you have to go out later! Brrrrrr!

I think about it all the time. If I was like 20 years younger, I would go for it.

Truthfully I have spent most of my life living somewhere else. Now at this stage of the game, I don't see it happening. As much as I would like it to.

Unfortunately, I am now the oldest, for what little remaining family I have left. (And I do mean very few.) So moving away to be by myself. I am just not into. Especially with trying to learn ones way around in different state or city.
