Probably. Being poor means you have less money to drive around.

That's like asking me to prove water is wet. I'm not taking the time to find references for basic, common sense common knowledge. You could always Google it yourself -- if you were truly interested :) The same with the statistic I offered about the percentage of income taxes paid by the bottom 50% of earners, you can verify facts like that easily with Google as well, I'm sure.

The better question is why do Republicans want to increase Deficit Spending? Look at the graph - they always do (pre-2008, early '80s). Now watch in the next 3 years, as that blue (on the graph) starts rising.

If you borrow $100,000 from the bank did you just earn $100,000?
These are not tax cuts but rather tax deferrals. The deficit just grew an average of $150B/year and that money will be repaid in the future or at the very least interest paid on it.
It is folly to increase the debt this way when the economy is on an 8 year upward trend. The old axiom "If it ain't broke don't fix it." applies.

LOL, when I work I am not borrowing from anybody. I am trading labor for cash. Of course they are tax cuts.

Why continue a tepid economy if it can be made better?

Obamacare is failing and was failing when Obooba was still president, because the insurers were dropping out, because they were losing too much money on the plan, thus Oboobacare was and is a failure.

Time will tell if the tax cuts increase revenue, thus cutting the deficit. You are used to Obooba exporting all business to China

They did not (enough to cover) under Reagan nor did they under Bush Jr, they did under Bush Sr. and Clinton. What is different this time? Bush Sr called it voodoo economics for a reason, it takes a lot of spiritual faith to believe that the rich will suddenly become generous.
US Corporations are already sitting on nearly $2-5T cash, interest rates near zero and the uber rich have the biggest slice of the pie ever. Why do you believe that deferring $150B a year in tax collections to them will suddenly make them jump up and say "I'm expanding today"?

If you really want to see the economy soar get out there and promote a raise of the minimum wage to $15/hr. That will have an effect on incomes well up into the middle class. That would make more people taxpayers, make SS and Medicare more solvent and increase demand which encourages expansion that creates jobs. The cash for expansion is there, of that there is no doubt.
Bonus: Put to rest the debate if Illegal immigrants are doing jobs that Americans won't do. We've all heard the argument that Mexicans will work the fields for $7/hr but not Americans. So raise it to $15/hr and see if that's the reason. If it is, nobody in their right mind will hire illegals when legal workers are available and the illegals go back home. If it isn't the case then we know we have to make new immigration laws accordingly.

Are these things inflationary? Yeah, some, but no where near the difference in income growth and tax revenues.

So you want other countries to have so much less corporate tax, that American companies making goods in America are actually stupid.

Your position is noted, but no one cares about such a foolish idea

They don't want to pay more taxes they want you to. It is the ultimate hypocrisy of the left From Al Gore writing of donating his old underwear to a local charity at five bucks a pair to the Clintons charity whose primary beneficiaries were themselves. They always want to point that finger at you claiming you aren't doing enough to help the poor so they have to pass all the welfare programs which in point of fact do little more than create even more misery and poverty.
And of course that doesn't take into account that until this latest tax bill the federal government by way of tax write offs for state and local taxes was subsidizing those high tax states.

The tax reduction for corporations and the wealthy will not induce a move to the USA. They will not make their goods here because
they can't be competitive here. Their cost of doing business here is too high due to union wages and strikes, retirement benefits,
company expense for health care, etc. The amount that middle-class America will gain is negligible. He could have served working class people better by shoring up social security and health care. Instead, he is going to break a campaign promise by tackling
social security and health care at the expense of the middle class. Relative to the wealthy, they made their money on the backs of
working middle-class America, and need to give back at times to make the playing field more even, such as a lower tax reduction
in favor of social security and healthcare. The wealthy reinvest their moneys
    to satisfy share holders.
