We already know he is an undicted co-conspirator. We also know that his close friend Roger Stone was secretly communicating with Wikileaks about dumps of hacked DNC emails, conspiring with hostile foreign agents to harm our democratic institutions to the benefit of his crooked friend. That should concern you as much as any Democrat. Why doesn't it?
¨giving Trump a wildcard for innocence .¨ That has been Trump and his minion´ś strategy all along. It doesn´t matter what Mueller comes up with, it won´t be enough for Trump and the Trumptards. (I just named my band) ¨Oh so what that you have evidence he gave the Russian Ambassador names and addresses of all our spies. He just wanted them on Putin´s Christmas List. Is it our fault that all our spies so love Russia they just disappeared in it?¨
You mean the "Comey rule" wildcard? Imagine Trumpsters living up to the standards set by "nutjob" Jim Comey! Outrageous right?
Because Trump hates muslims, Hispanics and anyone else not of the Master Race, and how you feel about your race is ALL that matters, to anyone, anywhere, but especially to the Master Race, who are on top of the Hill and must eventually kill everyone else, or they will kill them. America´s Credo and ideals mean nothing, Nations are reflections of the races making them up and anyone saying otherwise is a jejune naif, or a servant of the troglodytes who want to destroy humanity. This IS what many of them think, itś been laid out in detail for anyone to see years ago
Except it was specifically to do with Collusion and Donald Trump. If you really believe it was interested in just any collusion than you are seriously in denial, more so than Moses ever was. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special_Counsel_investigation_(2017–present)
The ongoing Special Counsel investigation (also referred to as the Mueller Probe or Mueller Investigation)[1] is a United States law enforcement and counterintelligence investigation of the Russian government's efforts to interfere in the 2016 presidential election. According to its authorizing document, which was signed by Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein on May 17, 2017, the investigation includes any possible links or coordination between Donald Trump's presidential campaign and the Russian government as well as "any matters that arose or may arise directly from the investigation." The scope of the investigation reportedly includes potential obstruction of justice by Trump and others.[2] It has been conducted by the United States Department of Justice Special Counsel's Office, headed by Robert Mueller, a Republican and former Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). As part of the investigation, Mueller also took over several other existing FBI investigations, including those into former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort and former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn.[3] The closest it comes to Trump personally is "any possible links or coordination between Donald Trump's presidential campaign and the Russian government," as well as potential obstruction of justice (which is looking pretty obvious at this point). That means anyone in his campaign. He takes it personally, however, and tries to deny the Russian interference on his behalf that we know has taken place. It most certainly is not a "witch hunt," but an investigation into Russian interference in our politics, and interference that happens to be in Trump's favor. It has ensnared a lot of crooks so far, but Trump and his family are not among them yet as far as indictments and concerned. It may be that they're all in the clear, or it may be that Mueller can't find sufficient evidence to indict them. Trump is a wily one, after all.
While that may be - this has nothing to do with Russian Collusion - which was the entire basis for the investigation. The other things then become "fruit the poisoned tree".
Perhaps I have it wrong and Mueller is honest in his approach but listening to the Democrats it's clear that all of their hopes and dreams of the past few years has been pinned on this report, frothing at the mouth to indict Trump. I could change my mind if in the final report the conclusion is that Trump is in no way shape or form compromised by Putin (IMO his policies show that he isn't Putin's puppet) and that Russia interference is restricted to troll accounts sowing discontent, which is something that the entire Western world needs to deal with, it's not an isolated US problem. I strongly disagree that it hasn't been a witch hunt though, it's clear that from the D's point of view that it has always been about removing Trump by any means possible.
The Democrats have been baying for Trump's blood and probably have high hopes for Mueller's report. Not that their criticisms of Trump are wrong or unfounded because of that, though. Congressional Democrats are handling things well, not getting carried away, not allowing the most anti-Trump elements to hold sway (thank Pelosi for that, I guess). As for Trump's relationship with Putin, he publicly entertained at Helsinki the notion of handing an American citizen, Bill Browder, over to Putin after Sergei Magnitsky had been killed while in Russian custody, an event which had given rise eventually to the Magnitsky Act, and that act is why Putin wants Browder also. Trump has also lied about his Moscow tower deal repeatedly and has had others doing so on his behalf. Cohen is going to prison in part for his lying about it under oath to Congress. It appears that possible money laundering from Russia to Trump through Deutsche Bank is also under investigation at present, and this would go back years and years, long before the election. That is probably outside the scope of Mueller's mandate, so his office is likely not investigating that, but who knows? Trump has repeatedly demonstrated personal bias apparently driven by financial interests toward certain foreign states, most notably Russia and Saudi Arabia. He has openly stated that he likes the Saudis because they give him money, although this was in connection with his personal business dealings years before he ever entered politics. He appears to be compromised and failing to fulfill his oath to serve American interests over his personal interests. All of this and his obvious attempts at obstruction of justice also are bound to be under active, ongoing investigation, whether by Mueller's office or by other offices. There is no telling what they might turn up, but none of it looks good at all for Trump. Obviously the impact of these investigations and what they have turned up so far, with so many of his inner circle cooperating with investigators and going to prison for perjury and other crimes, upsets Trump because it tarnishes him publicly, and so he lashes out at the investigators and at Democrats alike over it all. It is a mess when law enforcement and politics get entangled together, obviously. There would be no great controversy if he were being investigated today as a private citizen, but because he is the nation's most powerful politician, it is a royal mess with a lot of strong feelings and a crapton of disinformation and propaganda about it all flying around, mostly in defense of Trump.
Thank you for your detailed response. Most certainly food for thought for me and something I will look into and watch out for. I’m out at the moment so I can’t respond in detail but I think it goes without saying that most Presidents, Elites, whatever you want to call them are guilty of executing policy and lobbying for change through foreign money. This isn’t restricted to Trump and actually not something which bothers me too much. Look at the UK, we constantly favour the Saudis because they buy insane amounts of arms from us. If Trump was directly linked to and/or a puppet for another country then obviously that would be completely unacceptable and treason, like with any leader but I think there’s a difference between a puppet and someone who is influenced by personal bias. It’s a reality of politicians worldwide, not one I like but an accepted reality in today’s world. I can wish for that to change but my optimism is at an all time low for real, honest, intelligent politicians. Perhaps I should have no opinion as I am British but for me, it is about what someone does policy-wise and not about them as a person. Trump’s an absolute prick but he gets stuff done and it more true to his word regarding policy than virtually any other leading politician. I happen to think that his opposition do far more to stir up hatred and division than he does. He’s different that’s for sure but that’s why he won. Pelosi has enough of a job on her hand to try and centre the Democratic Party to a standard set of ideals. I am not convinced that she will win the war either, I think the old DP are pretty much over, the young socialists will take it within the next few election cycles. I don’t see anyone in the party who stands out other than Andrew Yang but he has zero chance of being the nominee, far too sensible and is actually a progressive. There’s no denying Trump looks at the past, like many others. Yang is forward thinking. Politics has infested everything. We live in the darkest geopolitically age in modern history.
All the frothing by the Dems is only known by the Republirats! Trump is an unindicted co-conspirator: end of story. He can be indicted when he leaves office.
Don't you ever get tired of taking the losing side and beaten into submission? Subs............. Jarrod would approve.
And? You imagine Trump goes to jail -vs- paying a fine? He'll need a huuuge cell ... the 24 / 7 secret service detail has to fit inside.
Not being indicted is not a "losing" side at all. It means that the DAs continue to gather evidence against Benedict Donald until the day he leaves office and then indict him.
What's a hoax? In what way does the word "hoax" apply to Mueller's investigation of Russian interference in our politics?
Haaahahahahaaa! Collusion is a HOAX. I think that you haven't been pushing the hoax, like others have. Are you reconsidering? Are you jumping on the "it was never about Trump colluding" bandwagon?
My facorite bits: Any "nevetrumpers" here still think Mueller's report could still present clear and convincing evidence Trump conspired with colluded with Putin, Russia or whoever, to defeat Hillary? Remember "drain the swamp", I think this actually resonated. I just didn't want "four more years" of Obamian policy (which I fully expected from Hillary). They're going to get their accounting soon.
For the record, he is not "my" anything and certainly not "beloved". I'm not a Yank. I didn't vote, I can't. I wouldn't if I could. Next time do your homework before you decide dump your politically obtuse and bloviating baloney on a post. Meanwhile, the OP was about the entire fabricated Russian meme, about Trump being a hand puppet of Putin. It was a transparent absurdity from beginning to end. And my guess is that you ran out in the road on day one and scooped up a whole shovel full of that steaming ordure and swallowed the whole ghastly mess in one mouthful.
Wrong! The SCOPE of the investigation INCLUDED all crimes that were uncovered in the process. That has nothing whatsoever to do with the "fruit the poisoned tree" fallacy that the BLOTUS supporters are now desperately grasping at.
