I don't know Egoboy. There has always been an unwritten rule that Presidents dont throw their predecessors under the bus because they know it could come back to bite them after they leave office. Trump isn’t that guy. But I’m unsure with Biden just because in normal circumstances I think Biden would honor that, but I just dont know if he will for Trump. I’m very up in the air on that one.

I think we deserve the whole story. But I also think that their are things there that we will never hear. Personally I believe that the Russians did hack our elections systems. But the government could never let that out as it would destroy our democracy as we know it.

I read a lot of articles on how the “spying” is done, and its all very fascinating. They dont actually capture most of the audio any more. It’s mostly auto transcribed so that after the fact the data can be mined. This was all part of the Patriot Act. The UDC has literally hindered of petabytes of data they mine for information. I think they have what they need there, but if they released it it could be very detrimental to our democracy

Why are you dodging the question ? Why would the Russian capitulate to Trump fro nothing in return ?

What news articles were written saying he was cleared before the FBI interview ?

    Show them ?

I don't think Biden will have to intervene personally. Assuming Sullivan is still on the case, his judicial order was to release the transcripts over a year ago, and the DOJ refused....

Quite simply, the next DOJ won't refuse..

I agree there are things the public doesn't have a need to hear, but these phone calls between a private citizen and representative of a non-friendly government do not qualify, in my book...

Here it comes... this is the part where you are accused of not paying enough attention, or some such ****...

I'd love to see a news article (from a NEWS source) saying Flynn was cleared before the FBI interview myself...

The declassification of the transcripts in no exculpates Flynn.

It only puts the Trump administration in worse light.

Flynn is going to jail, righties, and there is not a thing Barr can do about it.

You won’t provide a link for your claim that he said they remove sanctions. You have dodged that now TWICE, and went for speculation and and still cannot prove your claim. If your next post to me does not have the link to the claim you made, then you will once again be dodging what I said to you in the first place. You don’t get to provide speculation as facts then demand others answer what you want instead. Well I mean you can, but most likely this is the result you will get: I don’t believe you at all in any way, as you have not proven your claim that Flynn said the Trump admin would remove sanctions in the calls to Kislyak. So far, I rate that claim of yours false.

And since I’m a nice guy, here’s one article, dated the day before the interview:

    https://www.washingtonpost.com/worl...83879a-e1ae-11e6-a547-5fb9411d332c_story.html

Here’s the morning of the interview, BEFORE the interview took place:

    https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/po...amiss-flynn-russia-eavesdrop-official-n711226

So I’ve provided more proof of my claims than you have. Despite YOUR lack of proving your claim, I still have provided YOU with stuff to back up my claims. You should try it.

FFS man. They were NOT listening to Flynn. They were listening to Kislyak when Flynn called him

He denied that they discussed sanctions.

It’s in there charging documentation that they did. It only lists the lies. And the lies were about the sanctions.

The lies were about them not escalating due to sanctions. You claimed he said the Trump admin would remove the sanctions. YOUR claim is not there. I’ve asked you repeatedly to back up this claim of yours:

You have NOT linked to that or provided ANY facts that it did occur. The link you finally posted says exactly what I said and not what you claim.

Jesus dude what do you want to spy on Trump for life? You had the Mule himself investigate, they illegally spied, unmasked and fed BS to the media to get you libs hair on fire. All that came up with notta, nothing, zilch. Hell your good ole leaders even paid for Russian intelligence to get dirt on a political opponent, the very f'ing thing you lefties were screaming Trump did. It's a joke and those sticking to the Russian Hoax literally look like blabbing idiots.

That was just one meeting that was noted. By Rice's press agent's own statement, Rice was trying to control the narrative. As far as I know, we have not seen a transcript of what was really said. All we have is an email that Rice sent to herself. Like Flynn's 302's that went through several revisions, this email was not necessarily factual.

Further, in hindsight, we know that the investigation was not conducted "by the book". The original investigators tried to close the investigation, but the FBI Leadership (Comey, McCabe, Strzok, Page and Pientka) refused to close the case. McCabe contacted Flynn, and made it seem like this was a counter-intelligence briefing. Then, Strzok and Pientka conducted the interview in a manner that would intentionally put Flynn at ease. They omitted several requirements that are required for a criminal investigation interview. Strzok's handwritten memo asked whether the intent of the interview was to get him to lie to charge him, or get him fired. That is textbook entrapment.

So, the Obama Administration, that includes the FBI, is not clear of wrongdoing. On the contrary, they are guilty as sin.

Remember, we do not have a transcript of the actual meeting. All we have is lying Rice's email that she sent herself. Her press agent said that Rice was trying to control the narrative.

Considering that this "story" has been "DEVELOPING" for over a week.

And, considering how the RW has been pushing this "narrative".

I am shocked that Obama (and half of his Administration) aren't in cuffs (by now).

    What happened?

OR--Is the "story" just a bunch of b.s.?

Let's not forget that 5 days after that meeting, in a NPR interview, lying Rice claimed that she did not know of any investigation of Flynn. She reminds me of an old Star Trek (original) episode. The crew of the Enterprise was being held on a planet that had one human and a bunch of female robots. Captain Kirk defeated the robots with a looped reasoning statement. "Everything I say is a lie. I'm lying." The robots tried to make sense of those statement. If every thing he said is a lye, then he can't be lying when he said he was lying. But if he is not lying about that him lying, then everything he says can not be a lie." They went around and around about that until their heads exploded. Rice reminds me of those robots. She has gone around and around so many times that she can't tell the lies from the facts anymore. Unfortunately, her head will not explode. Instead she now believes that she is the one that decides what is real, and what is a lie. Were just supposed to believe her version of the truth no matter if it is a lie.

    Great.

In that case, why isn't she in cuffs?

The whole RW "narrative" looks like b.s.

The investigation is still ongoing. First, the DOJ and the US Attorney's office has to determine what laws have been broken. Then the information has to be presented to a Grand Jury. This all takes time. You can expect the indictments, and arrests, to take place as an October surprise. After all, this is a politically charged investigation in an election year.

The evidence is there for all, that cares to look, to see. Obviously, you don't care to look. If you did, you would know this isn't a "bunch of b.s."!

All ready answered that question. The only reason this "looks like b.s." is because you let the MSM tell you what to believe, and you refuse to view the evidence for yourself. Sad, very sad!!!

The real question is why did they ask Flynn that question. They already had a transcript of the conversation. They already knew that no laws had been broken. The Counter-Intelligence section of the FBI attempted to close the investigation because no laws had been broken. Then we have Strzok's memo that asks whether they were trying to get Flynn to lie, or get him fired. The whole interview was nothing but a case of entrapment, and any evidence obtained should have never been allowed in court. Further, the investigation was supposed to be about President Trump's campaign colluding with the Russians. Since they had the transcript of the conversation, and the counter-intelligence branch of the FBI had said that no laws were broken. The supposed lie was not materially relevant to the investigation. Therefore, under Federal Statutes, no charge of perjury can be applied. Further, when the Prosecution pulled the plea agreement, Flynn should have been allowed to change his "Guilty" Plea. Sullivan refused to allow that to happen. This shows that the fix was in. The only question remaining for Sullivan is whether he is a Judicial Activist or was paid to ensure a specific outcome. Otherwise he would not have hired Eric Holder's law firm to represent him.

    Basic standard investigative techniques.

You left out the part where the Russians were activly interfering in our elections while members of the Trump organization were meeting with them and not telling anyone. You guys always leave that part out. OF COURSE they are going to be investigated. This "perjury trap" carp is just that...CRAP. Flynn was a US Army General, I don't think anyone needed to tell him the law, nor tell him that lying to the FBI was a crime. The FBI only knew what they knew from the calls, they were investigating to see if their were other contacts that they did not know about. There may have been more than one conversation, or different contacts, talking points, etc. "The lie wasn't relative to the investigation" ? You're not serious on that one right ?

I find it amazing that the right in this country thinks that Flynn was interviewed once, and that the FBI over investigated him, while the same FBI investigated Hillary for 4 years, and they think that is not enough.

And your leaving out the fact that OBAMA said point blank they wouldn't be able to inter in our elections during the election and that OBAMA nor any intelligent service told Trump they were trying to intefer? Or the fact that there was nothing illegal or wrong doing during the call by the incoming NSA. Give it up, the unmasking was political, the spying was political and the coverup by Obama/Biden and the media is what devastated the country for 3 years.
