Oh I don't know....A political party, and politically leaning people going after someone so much that they make claim after claim after claim after claim and invest in investigation after investigation after investigation....All of them not going anywhere.

This all started in 2016 when Trump first ran for POTUS and he became the Primary contender. It is now 2022. That is 6 years of claims and investigations of crimes. None of which have put him in prison. Hell, none of them have even gotten him into a court room. Do you know that there is a phrase for that? Political Persecution. Even Hillary wasn't investigated as much as Trump has been. And she's probably been investigated more than any other politician. At least most of the investigations on her were just by committees with one of them being the FBI. Trump has State DA's and the Feds investigating him. Multiple times.

Surely even you, with your partisan view, can see how that would look. The perception that it causes. Particularly for those that support him.

 

What was it that Stalins top dog Lavrentiy Beria said? "Show me the man and I'll show you the crime" Yes, I'm sure that given enough time the left will finally peg something onto Trump. Won't matter to them what it is. Even if its minor it will be justification. It will be the one thing will be all that they need to justify every single other investigation that has been held against Trump.... and failed.

Here's the thing @Hey Now .... The justice system in our country is not supposed to be about finding a crime against someone. Its supposed to be about finding a crime and then objectively linking that crime to whoever is involved. Does it not bother you that you just admitted to searching for a crime against a person that you dislike? If not outright hate? Do you truly not see the problem with what you are condoning here?

I think she's definitely looking at convening a grand jury at this point. No other reason she would meet with Trump's lawyers. She'll probably get some indictments. As for a conviction? I don't think there is any real doubt that Trump's actions were illegal. However, for a criminal conviction, they have to prove intent. That's where things get shaky. Trump has a pretty good ignornace/pseudo-insanity defense going. Prosecution will rely on the fact that Trump's own advisors/lawyers informed him that these claims were bull ****, but I don't know if that will be enough to sway a jury. Hopefully so. He's more likely to face convictions for his financial crimes, IMO.

 

Last time I saw this claim, they didn't actually show a shared bank account, just Joe sending money to his son. And I think even that was after Joe was no longer in office. And Trump supporters were fine with Trump getting payments from foreign countries.

Because the emails didn't show anything illegal involving Biden. They didn't even show the supposed "joint account." Daily Mail just hoped they could dupe some gullible rubes with a catchy headline and crossed their fingers that their zombies would parrot what they were told to parrot without actually reading the emails. They were in luck.

Trump actually DID get money from foreign sources. Where's the FBI investigation?

Bet you can't make this statement without ONCE referring to an already owned business of Trumps.

Trump wasn't even the target at that point. The DOJ wasn't investigating him, personally, until he fired Comey. And the investigation into the campaign predates the Steele Dossier.
