No more so than when the Democrats didnt accept Trump winning in 2016 election. The threat is that which causes voters to doubt the results of the election.
Audit the vote in Atlanta Detroit Philadelphia and Milwaukee to show the threat is nonexistent. We got 3 years of the full force of the Federal government following 2016 to discover the threat was in fact a piece of literary fiction written by Christopher Steele, paid for by the Hillary campaign. Could probably audit the 4 cities in a month or two.

For those that feel democracy is under threat, they need to follow democracy themselves. Trump wining in 2016 and they not accepting Trump as their president highlights the fact they don't know what democracy is and which cornerstones they're referring to.

Why, in your opinion, is it only permissible for Democrats to challenge results?

How many investigations have been grinding on against Trump for years? How many have actually found any evidence of wrongdoing?

They have the transcript of the call. What is there left to investigate?

As I understand it, they need to develop evidence that T**** knew by 1/3 that he had lost Georgia and that it was completely out of Brad's hands to do anything about it...

As laughable as that sounds to the sane...

    Maybe, maybe not.

But one thing it doesn't exonerate........

    Trump's dire ignorance and stupidity.

Why? He should know, as President, a State Secy of State cannot extract 11780 votes from a batch of votes Trump has no proof that they weren't valid.

Even if they weren't valid, it would take a court ruling to invalidate them. Even if that occurred, the Secy of State couldn't extract 11780 votes, there would be a new vote, and a new slate of electors. Trump's ignorance of process is mindboggling for a sitting US president demonstrating clearly that he is not fit for the office he held.

Trump should, as President, have the responsibility to listen to the advice of Raffensberger, who told him, several times, there was no evidence of Trump's claim of fraudulent votes.

We'll be hearing "we've got-em this time" from the left for the next 60 years or so. About the time they begin to insist Lincoln was actually a Democrat and Republicans where the slave owners.

A very interesting hearing coming tomorrow... judge will determine if the grand jury report will become public NOW, before any possible indictments are filed.

While we all want to read this, I sort of think it's premature.

No word on if Willis will support or oppose the release, but one has to believe she'd oppose it at this stage...

    SNIP
McBurney, who disclosed this month that the jury had completed its work and forwarded its report, also indicated the panel had "voted to recommend that its report be published."

The hearing will determine whether there any objections or other considerations to weigh before taking action.

The hearing could result in the full release of the report and the panel's recommendations, a partial disclosure or a decision to withhold the document pending any decision on prosecution.

No, but it doesn't matter because if you read an online article that media outlet will get a bit of advertising revenue.

'Decisions are imminent' on charges in Trump's effort to overturn 2020 election in GeorgiaSource: CNN Politics

CNN — Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis suggested Tuesday that the special grand jury investigating Donald Trump and his allies’ efforts to upend the 2020 election in Georgia has recommended multiple indictments and said that her decision on whether to bring charges is “imminent.”

A hearing is underway in an Atlanta courtroom on whether to publicly release the special grand jury report. Willis opposes the release, citing her ongoing deliberations on charges. “Decisions are imminent,” Willis said.

The special grand jury, barred from issuing indictments, penned the highly anticipated final report as a culmination of its seven months of work, which included interviewing witnesses from Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger to former Trump attorney Rudy Giuliani.

Its final report is likely to include some summary of the panel’s investigative work, as well as any recommendations for indictments and the alleged conduct that led the panel to its conclusions.
