    1- because they're not in any way 'liberal'
    2- because its a whole lot easier to control, manipulate and oppress a collective than many individuals

    Unsupported claim "some day" which I will call the time machine fallacy followed by a false dichotomy "only recourse is more guns" that ignores the 3 options I provided:

    1. Enforce existing laws;
    2. Keep criminals in jail;
    3. More police.

    That pretty much sounds like a direct infringement on the right to keep and bear arms. It is also clearly racists as Blacks would disproportionately be refused the right to keep and bear arms as the financial costs hurt them more. Right Lefties?

    Why do these Leftists hate the U.S. Constitution so much?

    You stop! That does not allow Leftists to deny Americans their Constitutional Rights. The goal is not less crime, but more power and control by Democrats. If they wanted less crime, they would just do what you suggested.

    Not true, and Michigan isn’t a heavily gun regulated State, look at NY and the New England States, heavily regulation and less gun violence

    And your second point makes little sense, you cannot offer any documentation proving such

    How do you know? And as I noted before, it ain’t the gangbangers who are shooting up churches, schools, retirement homes, bowling alleys, theaters, spas, malls, grocery stores and places of entertainment

    They claim it was written for and by old white men. Also, it constrains government rather then mandates government to provide free stuff as the left demands.

    Been out there for a long time, and I have already posted the statistics, twice, in two different forms from various sources, here, few others:

    Not a deflection, fact, relevant to your comment and the topic in general

    Not complicated at all, as the topic post said, gun owners would be required to pay a small fee, I believe $25 was the number, and gun owners would be required to care liability insurance on their weapons just as they do their vehicles, couldn’t be any easier to understand

    Morons. Don’t they know the shootings are using stolen and illegally owned guns? Way to punish legal gun owners who never have to use them.

    Wrong, and I have already shown why, to put it simply, auto owners are required to carry insurance on their vehicle and I can’t say I ever heard of anyone saying auto ownership discriminated against Blacks

    Well I know so because there are literally hundreds of laws on the books that effect legal gun owners that to this day still haven't deterred illegals from going on about their daily routines of crime armed with a firearm :)

    And yet you have no answer for how taxing a law abiding, registering gun owner is going to lessen the simple crimes of illegal firearm possession let ALONE the crime they commit with them ;)

    Already done it half dozen times, but for you, in its simplest form, today, nothing, but down the road it could lead to a reduction of guns available

    There is no right to keep and bear a car in the U.S. Constitution.

    Your argument is a pure failure. Maybe next time? Doubtful... lol

    Did Stephen Paddock steal the arsenal he used to shoot four hundred plus killing over sixty?

    Unconstitutional on its face and completely irrelevant to public safety.

    If the people of Santa Clara County really want improved public safety, they should build more and bigger jails and use them.

    Hold tight I think Archive is just about to explain all that once the thread is booted in to the 100 mark :) Can't say I'd wanna take credit for that many replies pointing out the ridiculousness of the purpose of a gun tax and it's positive effect on relieving criminals of guns and reducing crime ;)

    But hey "Hope spring eternal" :)

    Cause most of the laws are useless, when one can get a weapon via private sales or the Internet any law is useless
