Trump's response has given us deaths which are 50 times that, or 5000% worse.

In any other nation they would have this ******* in a jail cell and awaiting execution for mass murder, along with most of his enablers. Hell, they'd probably be hanging Trumpers from lampposts

Oh, and we (meaning Trump and his cadre of frogs who were kissed by a Republican prince and turned into toadies) had FOUR warnings of this, before Trump became President ( those last 3 words still sound surreal even now). We had DRILLS which had people playing dead bodies in hospitals. The CDC and the Office of Pandemic Awareness told Trump over and over that this was likely and Trump's response was to assign all their personnel to other duties in 2017

SOMETHING should happen to anyone who ****s up this badly, it's not just incompetence and it's not just stupidity and arrogance. When you totally ignore people who are trying to warn you of a bad thing even though they tell you many times that thousands are likely to die you bloody WANT it to happen and that's ****ing EVIL in my opinion.

bigger question is why do these places not have areas to quarantine the sick, something we need to look at, as this will not be our last pandemic

A) No, that estimate is 61,000.
B) If you counted Flu deaths the same way that we are counting Covid-19 deaths, then the deadliest year from the Flu killed around 15,500.
