you are correct. years ago, a U of Michigan feminist economist wanted to create a doctrine called "comparable worth" in order to make up for the fact that traditionally male positions such as truck driver-paid more than traditionally female roles such as grade school teacher. It was idiotic but it had some followers. Having watched hundreds of people get sentenced for federal crimes, I know that race has almost nothing to do with it. Before a person is sentenced, the US Probation office creates what is called a Pre-setennce investigatory report that both sides can see and object to before it goes to the sentencing judge. The sentencing guidelines play a role in that. Generally the offense level and prior criminal history determine the sentence. Meaning two offenders with say an offense level of 25 ( fairly serious felony) can get different sentences if one has a criminal history of zero (clean record) while the other has a IV or V criminal history

One wonders what the point of your post here is. Are you just suggesting that police, regardless of race, are punishing the black community? Did it occur to you that perhaps the police officer here isn't white? I see a lot of assumptions that frankly haven't been established as facts here. And yes, police shoot lots of folks, white kids too. I suggest you offer your commentary to USAToday since they seem to be the focus of your rage here. Ask USAToday why they aren't reporting more generally, and why that news org only ever seems to sensationalize these kinds of cases. Dillon Taylor is an example. What do you think USAToday had to say about that event?

 

They come from all walks of life, however are objectively statistically more prevelant in the black community by a large margin. And they see this thug culture at a much higher rate due to fatherless homes that are also beyond that of any other race, coupled with finding role models in all the wrongnplaces. It’s a cycle that requires breaking.

 

As far as you know is wrong. Nor is that a logical point even if it were true. Thug culture has zero to do with capitalism as it has existed in communism as well, in fact to a much higher degree as it was necessary to even exist.
