    9 Shooting Scenes Resulted In 15 People Shot

    Detroit police said that between 6 a.m. on Friday and 6 a.m. on Saturday, nine shooting scenes resulted in 15 people shot.

    "Reducing violent crime is our number one priority," said Detroit Mayor Dave Bing. "Our community must continue to work with us to stop this kind of violence. Every resident deserves to be safe and feel safe in their neighborhood."

    Six of the 15 shot died, one is in critical condition, one is in serious condition, three are in temporarily serious condition and one is in stable condition.

    It may be too late...:(

    A generation of useless, mindless feral humans cannot co-exist with a growing thriving economy...it is either one or the other. These people literally destroy everything they come in contact with, whether it be other people, homes, property, etc. The only thing they know is crime, looting, stealing and murder, they are no better than animals and until we can rid society of these POS sub humans our economy is doomed.

    I'd like to see you walk through the streets of Detroit after dark or live there without protection of some kind and have some rapist climb in your window at night and put a knife to your throat. Do you really think taking guns away from everyone will keep them out of the hands of criminals or stop crime???

    i'd bet my paycheck that most if not all of the shooters are already prohibited by law from owning a gun of any type. either because of age (too young), or felony conviction.

    Look, I'll make this simple for you. The second amendment was adopted in December 15, 1791. The current state of Detroit started in the late 1960's with the onset of the Left's social revolution. Prior to that many American High Schools had rifle competition teams without the current mass shootings.

    That's the price of freedom.

    I don't think most Hollywood movies are good for American culture either but we have a 1st Amendment that protects free speech.

    And you know, most gun owners are responsible people just as most Americans do not abuse their free speech rights either.

    You're blaming the second amendment instead of those who commit the crimes. You are saying without the second amendment no one would have guns. No criminal would be able to put his hands on a gun. If that was not what you meant, then please explain.

    This is incorrect. The biggest cause for urban decay has been globalization and manufacturing jobs going overseas. This, of course, isn't a leftist issue, but a conservative one.

    I realise that most gun owners are responsible people. But it doesn't prevent daily shootings. See Don Glock26 posting regarding Detroit today.

    You also have a 1st Amendment that permits the abuse of free speech. Ask Nancy Grace. She sure knows a lot about that.
