2 my fellow righties, saying "masks don't work" is as bad as lefties saying "walls don't work"

Can you cite his paper? Because, you making stuff up in your head doesn't make it true. In fact, it's completely wrong.

Do you really think the medical community has been wearing masks for 100 years because it's illogical? How does that make sense in your head?

As you can see, your fellow conservatives are hopeless.

That's what you get when science denying becomes accepted party policy.

    Yes.

Avoiding breathing in toxic chemicals is a good reason to wear comprehensive PPE.

To avoid your spittle from travelling great distances, a simple barrier will do.

I did not make the statement but how do you think "airborne" viruses, chiefly spread?

So your own image shows how easy it is for the particles to go into your eyes. Regardless if you are wearing an ineffective mask. My opinion is those with health conditions should have to wear full face respirators if they are worried about contracting covid. Everyone else should be able to choose rather they want to wear the ineffective one or not. It's not my job to keep you safe it's your job to take measures to protect yourself. I do not expect anyone to wear a mask to protect me.

    How very pro-life of you.

I find it hard to believe that you never go out of your way to avoid hurting another person. I find it impossible to believe, so you'll just have to come out and say, "I will never go out of my way to avoid hurting someone."

I just looked at my morning paper and it turns out that the reason the COVID-19 numbers are rising is because people are having weddings without the masks, people are closer than six feet and breaking the coronavirus pandemic rules. The good news is that there are some local governments in many cities and towns making it manditory for the citizens to wear the masks and keep their distances at lease six feet from each other and if they don't wear the masks, they'll be issued a citation for not doing so. like getting a parking ticket or a speeding ticket/ It's simple as that. Those are new temporary rules that have to be followed and obeyed. bottom line. PERIOD.

Sure I would go out of my way to avoid hurting people. If I knew I had it I would self quarantine. I usually tried to give people 6 feet of space in public before covid was even a thing. That's just common courtesy. But I'm not going to give up freedoms because the government mandates that I wear an ineffective mask to provide faux security to people who probably panic about something everyday of their life.

Even if the mask only helps with 50% of it, that is still HUGE! and from the diagrams of germs spread, i would say its way more than 50% but I'm not a doctor so I won't get mathematical here. Since we are on the topic though, are face shields better? If so, anyone know a good one to get?

I'm not sure why it ever had to be political to begin with. It must come down to it being lefty governors who first instituted mask rules. I have to wonder if the reaction would be different if it had been a Republican governor that did it first.

But the Republican governors are sure as heck doing it now.

But on the bright side, in my rural area where you'll see 15 Trump signs for every Biden sign, I hardly ever see a person without a mask on, in the places where they should be wearing them.

I would be willing to bet at least half of the people who talk tough about them on the internet actually wear them in real life.

    At least I hope so.

I think it’s too late for your party but I’m heartened to see that you get it and your example regarding sunlight is spot on and stunning when you see it

the left does not say walls do not work

they say use walls where they work, not just make a wall from coast to coast

same with masks, where them where they work, not 24\7

    Thats fair.
But it doesn't justify making it illegal to not wear one. Which is the only problem I have with the mask situation.

Your only alternative to the Dollar Store is fishing in the crick?
