57% of Democrats View Socialism Positively

But they're not socialists!

A recent Gallup poll revealed that 57% of Democrats are fond of Socialism:

No wonder Uncle Bernie did so well in the last Democratic presidential primary and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is a rising star in the Democratic party.

Unfortunately for the party that is chock full of Democratic Socialists and is becoming increasingly indistinguishable from the Socialist Party USA, a majority of Americans say they won't vote for a socialist:

Nevertheless, I find the results of this poll hilarious in light of the incessant denials and feeble protests from our Leftist friends.

In case you haven't forgotten it wasn't that long ago that Hugo Chavez was the poster child of the left (when oil prices were high and Venezuela could pay for some of their socialism). Then he no longer had money so he resorted to fascist tactics to keep power. All of you lefties are the same at the core. Social security is a contract between the government and the people, it is not a redistribution of wealth, although the pay in/out ratio is rather extreme in favor of the recipient. Medicare is a different matter, but honestly not one that can be addressed while baby boomers still vote...

FDR's reforms were the essence of Democratic Socialism. Bernie said he is a democratic socialist "in the manner of FDR".
