Ya it's amazing how the left can spin a recovery in to looking like "Returning to jobs after a layoff" were new jobs added :) It's numbers for suckers that refuse to see the difference in new jobs added and people returning to jobs after a layoff..

Trump's claims about the wonderful things he has done for black unemployment are equally wrong when you compare with Obama.

Some of the worst rates of AA unemployment were during the Obama years. Under trump we have the best ever. Moreover wages are rising they aren’t getting thrown against walls for being African American. That only happens during the Obama years in Bull Conner Bloomberg’s city

The same thing applies to African Americans. Obama put 1.5 million back to work in his last 3 years while Trump added only 300K in his first 3 years.
Where you impressed with the 9% of the black vote the pubs got in 2018 too?

You mean the GOP Congress did...after they brought down the dems double digit unemployment....and trumps only added to it!

now the dems want bull Conner Bloomberg in the White House throwing AA against the wall...sad

LOL - Who said the 1.48%ers were good for nothing? :D

(PS. That's 1.48% average annual GDP growth under Obama, which is the 4th or 5th worst all time.)

Why are you averaging in the recession Obama inherited from Bush?

    9D2680F8-F6A6-40B9-9E4F-D0BCF690706E.png

Economic growth in Obama's last three years is about the same as the growth in Trump's first three years.

The recession, which has been termed the "Reagan recession", coupled with budget cuts, which were enacted in 1981 but began to take effect only in 1982, led many voters to believe that Reagan was insensitive to the needs of average citizens and favored the wealthy.

What happened after that? Oh he cut taxes and we saw the largest peace time economic expansion in history. Remember he took office in 1981 and had some recovery and blow back to deal with

Reagan takes office in the worst economic crisis since the Great Depression and with 3 years has it turned around and booming.

obama takes office during a hiccup and he and His party make things way worse and only now a decade later trying to take credit for a booming economy

Economic growth in Obama's last three years is about the same as Trump's first three years. How about telling the truth?

Yes the economy got better when the dems lost control of congress...it’s only improved once the lost the oval. I don’t disagree

I don't make the numbers. Bush's numbers got dinged for things Carter and Clinton did, too. All presidents deal with that.

Even if we were to throw Obama a bone and forget that, his economic numbers would have been much better if him and his fellow Democrats had focused on the economy and done more for it instead of passing massive new entitlement programs, raising people's taxes, and badmouthing the private sector. The economy was something Obama "pivoted" to, and as Chuck Schumer lamented it cost Democrats Congress and eventually the White House. Another thing is GDP growth was a paltry 1.49% during his last year in office and by that point people weren't satisfied with his policies and stewardship of the economy.

In my opinion and the opinion of many others more knowledgable that I, Obama's numbers should have been much better coming out of a recession that deep, and if he had done a better job handling the economy Hillary Clinton would be president today, not a businessman from New York. One of the biggest mistakes Clinton made was pledging to continue Obama's policies. She would have been much better off striking out on her own and making it clear that she was going to follow her husband's policies or something along those lines, instead.

Well, the Dems have encouraged illegal immigration where 1/3 of the women and girls are raped along the way.

But it’s ok if it means turning Texas blue, right?

Or it got better after Bush the Elder and Bush the Younger lost the White House.

There are too many factors involved for generalizing.
