This man's visa expired. He was arrested for deportation.
How was the law applied incorrectly?

I was not talking about that particular case, but only in general terms as to jury power.

The role of the jury is not so much in immigration cases, but rather in civil and criminal cases.

It's threads like these when conservative posters give leftism purpose. The gloating, the arrogance, the racism, all self righteously paraded forth hiding behind the law. Almost every conservative opinion in this thread reeks of racism. Hide behind the law all you want. I see it for what it is.

This empowers the left on this issue legitimately. Why give them anything??

My post history shows quite clearly my conservative values. I am a staunch defender of the need for the wall, and secure borders. I voted for and support President Trump in almost every thread. I also support fully DACA recipients pathway to citizenship and further immigration reform for the remaining ten million or so to get on a similar track.

ICE is disgusting. They literally disgust me. This harmless academic, sole provider for his family, here almost his entire life and ICE tracks him down and arrests him.

ICE is dead pan lazy, blowhard, arrogant, stupid. Each and everyone of them can go fk themselves. Am I making myself clear?

We have 100s of thousands of illegal felons sitting in jails prisons, running amok in our cities in gangs, selling drugs, murdering people, where is ICE? Why aren't they spending their resources and time on that??

Ah yes they are busy deporting harmless academics because they are breaking the law.

    Cowards.

People in this thread keep asking well he seems nice why didn't he go ahead and apply via a legal route? Because it's not that easy. It's nearly impossible for a current illegal immigrant to obtain a green card then on down the path to natural citizenship. All aspects of our government and Congress admit the laws are broken.

I'll put it in terms anyone regardless of mental faculty can understand. Please anyone go read the actual laws and requirements and provisions and fifty different other intentional roadblocks to prevent existing illegal immigrants from acquiring a green card. It will make your eyes bleed as if you have contracted Ebola.

The laws are that stupid. So ICE those bit ches need to lay off people like this who are law abiding contributing members of our society until it gets sorted out.

Period. No discussion. Why? Because it's common sense. If your opinion states otherwise? Then your opinion is racist. Hiding the ugly fact behind a broken set of laws. Don't fool yourself.

    Its the law.
    Don't like it? Change it.
That fact you do not like it does not mean you get to ignore it.

Piss on enforcing this law against harmless, good people. I've seen enough of your post history to know your not conservative but alt right. I find your opinion overall to be racist. Your opinion and beliefs against illegal immigrants is well documented. Stop hiding your racist opinion behind broken laws.

Shall I go grab some of them for you sir?

Just as bad as the progressive socialists running amok in these forums and media trying to destroy my country is alt right stupidity.

No, my original opinion holds true. It's spoken without malice more frustration than anything. Racists should just say they are a racist and be done with it. I respect people that actually own up to be counted and ultimately pushed to the side. Racism is not logical for our country to enable compromise and movement forward.

Therefore I am not a racist. I want progress. In my lifetime preferably. ICE arresting professors because of broken laws and immigration system is not progress it's racism and gives fuel to the leftists to use against our conservative economic and national security and border agenda! It perpetuates deadlock.

I may not be racist but I honestly look at myself and realize that in regards to some things I am a bigot.

I am 100% non compromising in my bigotry towards anything ghetto fabulous. That godawful urban culture fad that is yes primarily a black culture phenomenon but honestly has spread through out every segment of our society and has zero value of any measure. Fueled by music that glorifies violence, laziness, the objectization and abuse of women and even the killing of law enforcement! I can't walk ten feet on a given day without some kid walking by with his pants literally down below his arse and waddling around like a duck trying to look tough.

Ill even go so far as to say I hate it. It has no value on any measure I can think of to our society.

So sadly I am a bigot. I have to own it right?

As a bigot I want to compromise to make our country better, safer and stronger. ICE doing actions as outlined in this OP does not accomplish that. I believe in racial inclusivity not diversity. All races should have a seat at the table with their gdamn pants pulled up to their waist, shirt tails tucked in and have a voice. An equal voice.

Just as long as none of us have to accept any responsibility for the situation "illegals" are in. Our Wall Street/donor/"job creator" class is why they were ever here in the first place, and we all did not want to pay for goods and services provided by the more expensive labor of fellow americans.

Ah, so supporting enforcement of laws is racism. So when you get stopped for speeding the only reason is racism.

I am not the one that made a silly blanket statement. I hope you realize that Latinos are considered white on the census.

You are also willfully unaware of the context in which the statement was made.
    Hint: It's not MY position.

Did you know that Latinos are not considered a race but an ethnicity and white on the census?

You said enforcing laws is racist when applied to immigration laws. You are upset that there are laws regulating immigration.

Aw shucks, he doesn't have to follow the laws. He isn't a citizen, so he doesn't believe in them. They aren't his laws. LOL

Round them up and put them on an island where they can await trial and sentencing. They jeopardized their children's welfare too, so the can be charged with some child abuse laws being broken, as well.

Build more prisons while they await. That would be more effective than a wall.

We followed the judge's instructions and the letter of the law.

In the grand jury we followed the letter of the law because the DA's instructions do not carry the same weight as a judge's instructions.
