German immigrants helped to build this country. Some became Nazi sympathizers 300 or so years later. They kept Roosevelt thinking about what would happen, if we joined the Allies in WWII Europe.

They had little to do with NeoNazis. NeoNazis wish they understood and belonged to the originals. It's like giving credence to Manson because he did have a commune where everyone was equal and women were passed around like toys, while Charlie had the final say and the murderous psychopathy, which he spread to his followers through abuse.

 

You’ve probably seen that infamous photo of Madison Square Garden from 1939, where over 20,000 American Nazis held a “patriotic” rally in New York. But a new 7-minute documentary gives us an even more detailed (and terrifying) peek at just what happened that night on February 20, 1939.


The documentary, produced by Field of Vision and directed by two-time Oscar nominee Marshall Curry, collects for the first time all the known footage of the event. And it’s really quite fascinating to watch Nazis pledge their undying allegiance to the American flag one minute, and give a Nazi salute the next.


“When I found out that it had been filmed, I asked an archival researcher, Rich Remsberg, to see what he could find,” Curry says in a new Q&A about the film.

“It turned out that short clips had been used in history documentaries before, but no one seemed to have collected together all of the scraps of footage—there was some at the National Archives, some at UCLA’s archive, some at other places,” Curry continued.

The entire 7-minute film, titled “A Night at the Garden,” is available for free on Vimeo. And it’s really quite a disturbing artifact from an era when far too many Americans were cozy with the Nazi regime.

There were streets named after Adolph Hitler in America. He was a popular guy in the States.

 

Americans loved Nazis. Nazi pows were treated like kings here by the locals. And the government wouldn't let black American soldiers kill white Nazis or build weapons to harm them.

When you talk about German history and the Nazis, you talk about Germans. There is a huge difference between the neo-nazis and the Nazis of Germany in the 30s and 40s. I worked at the same place as a card carrying Nazi party member from Germany. He was old and said he worked as a machinist building airplanes for the Luftwaffe. He was the best tool and die maker in the place. He had a brother who worked there as well. He'd retired before I really knew more than rumors.

No young folks today have a clue. It's like reading posts by the clueless, when I read something by today's leftists. It's obvious they can't even imagine the reality of what happened, or they would not even consider those neo-Nazis as anything more than the three stooges.

This guy I knew was proud. He was tall, slim, yet muscular for his advanced age. His eyes were steely and blue. He was confident, alpha in a sense that alphas today can't understand. He carried his party affiliation card in his wallet. Do you understand how gutsy that is? He was harassed day in and day out by those who fought or lived through WWII and worked there. Nothing bothered him.

The left has no clue. None. It's sad they spread stupidity.

~Germanic peoples were more important than others
~Banned tobacco and smoking
~Experiments in Genetics promoted
~Individual Ethics and Christian Charity were discouraged and National Welfare replaced them
~Darwin's discoveries helped to mold new theories of superior genetics

These are what I can remember without going into deep searches. What U.S. party more closely follows these ideas? Republicans, Democrats, Constitution, Libertarian, Bernie Sander's Party(don't know what it is called, but it is not democrat), or some other party?

I do not suggest I know everything. I suggest you are missing some very important points due to having been indoctrinated in some ideology.

 

Our far right and Alt Right most resemble the Nazis.
