How so? I don't recall Bernie being particularly rich compared to other politicians.

Here is a quote from you. It seems like you are using wealth as a proof of fraud.
"Are the leaders in Europe living on $35k a year salaries? I whole heartedly believe "leaders" in the EU dodge taxes by claiming travel expenses or use government funds for purchases."

Yes, that's not to say they are rich, there for they are tax cheats. I say that they use government money to pay for their trips. This is why socialism is for the people, not the socialist (leaders). No peasant gets to use government funds for trips. If the socialist leaders followed what they preached, they would live on wages of the average citizen. But then again, some animals are just more equal than others.

Are these public or private trips? How much money per year is going to each politician for trips? Do you have evidence all of them are doing this? How does this prove that they aren't paying the tax increases they are imposing?

Sorry to question your gawd. I know I can't come between you and your dogma.

I took a sociology once with a professor like this. Very effeminate beta type, like you would expect. He was up in front of class harping on about how unfair it is for women to be paid 30% less for doing the same job that men do. I raised my hand and asked "if men are costing businesses 30% more for doing the same work, why aren't these businesses firing all of their male employees and hiring exclusively women? They would save a ton of money on labor costs".

He literally froze for a second and said "hmmm, that's an interesting question. Well, men tend to benefit from sexism in the work place, and owners like having men around for this reason."

I thought that was a pretty weak answer, so I needled him a bit more by saying "so they like having men around more than saving 30% on their labor costs? Labor costs are the biggest expense a business has and a huge savings like this could potentially be many millions of dollars".

He just repeated his earlier answer and moved onto someone else. I looked around and everyone was looking at me funny in the classroom. It was great. I thought this would affect my grade in the class since I had essentially "outted" myself, but I still got an A.

Nice story. It would make a great addition to the children's fiction section.

I don't like politicians that much and if you want to prove they committed fraud and didn't pay their tax increases be my guest, I am all ears. But all I hear from you is all noise and no real answers.

But don't our politicians use government money to pay for trips too? We have already spent millions on Donald Trump for his trips. We do this because the trips are for public business. My company will pay for my trips if they are for company business so I don't have to do business for them out of my own money.

    Thanks!

Not fiction. Glad you liked it, though.

Yep, they sure do. What does that have to do with what I said about socialist countrys' leaders? Again, I didn't vote for Trump.

What would happen is you'd be told some nonsense about how Cubans are still driving old cars because capitalists have stolen the resources of the Cuban workers, and then after a brief rundown on the volatile history between Cuba and the United States, you'd get a failed grade which would play havoc with your GPA.

Taxpayers from government all around the world pay for government trips because it is a government expense and government expenses are paid with taxes.

Is empathy too much to ask, giving healthcare to the people, and not solely at the feet of the corrupt capitalists? That is what single-payer accomplishes. That's the only hallmark of socialism these professors you fear, are promoting. Don't be stupid, a professor would not be able to demonstrate socialism, you would need the government to do that. And because single-payer is so highly used around the world, I don't want to hear about Venezuela.

The country already operates partly through socialism now.

There's a difference between giving and taking. I know, I know, your socialist professors are a bit too dim-witted to figure the difference out, but there is a difference, and one they've rejected, so you are doing them a disservice by substituting "giving" for their preferred "taking".

and a professor can't demonstrate socialism? Damn, you got some garbage professors!

    and...

damn, that bit about explaining themselves really is a problem for lefties. Like maybe "the country already operates partly through socialism now, so.... "

    so what?

See, I got nothing because you offered nothing. Might as well tell me that my daughter just ate a cookie, when I told her I don't want her eating cookies.

but your daughter already ate a cookie!

hint; this is not new news.

I had to debate pro-fracking in a college class and I was whipping the other team so hard the teacher had to jump on their side of the debate. LOL, can't make that stuff up.

Because socialism, like social security "contributions" are things IMPOSED upon the people. After having suffered the SS deductions for decades why wouldn't retirees make government officials make good on their pledge? Workers EARNED, and PAID for retirement security. SS belongs to those who funded it. It's not the governments property.
