Funny how some extremist members of the far right like to refer to Republicans warmongers such as Reagan, Bush I, and Bush II as "liberals" for starting these conflicts and killing our soldiers in overseas wars.

Remember when Obama changed the rules of engagement to put us in more danger? To be fair, even my liberal friends were ashamed of that.

First off, I never made a claim that you said Obama used a deferment. I asked you if he had like Trump used his fake bone spurs to get one. And the "wet dream" must be your climaxing in your stupor after you placed Obama's name in with that of the Clintons as if he wqas guilty of the same.

Keep up with current events. He said he plans on sending more to Syria, Iraq, and already signed an order to expand the military operations in Somalia.

    Right.

Rape in the military is no more of a problem than it is anywhere else in society.

You're as likely to get raped on a college campus as you are wearing a uniform.

Are you insinuating that the US military is not an elite fighting force?

I was out by the time the fighting in Fallujah reached it's peak.

Some of the things our guys told me when they got back made my veins pop.

Seems like they forgot just how cowards like Bush, Cheney, Rumsfield, Rove, etc. sent them off to war:

    http://rense.com/general39/waron.htm

"But on March 19, the night before the 2nd Battalion, 23rd Regiment, crossed the Iraqi border, Marines in Fox Company, drawn mainly from Utah and Nevada, learned they would not have armored vehicles equipped with powerful weapons. Instead, they would ride into combat in soft-sided trucks with few heavy arms.

"It was probably one of the scariest things I had ever been told," Cpl. Scott Lee of Ogden wrote to his wife. "Everyone was freaking out. I had Lance Cpl. Arnold give me a [LDS priesthood] blessing, and he asked for one in return."

In the days of fighting their way to Baghdad, Davis' and Lee's battalion, honored by the Reserve Officers' Association as the nation's finest Reserve infantry unit, found they were short on ammunition, hand grenades, signal devices, chemical weapon detectors and heavy guns.

The Marines had to share night vision goggles and body armor. They ended up stripping needed equipment from wounded and injured comrades. They had no spare parts to repair weapons, radios, trucks or Humvees. Until the end of the fighting, they didn't even have spare tires.

Because they did not have a satellite radio, their headquarters frequently lost contact with higher command -- contact necessary for learning the evolving war strategy and in calling for airstrikes, artillery or medical evacuation helicopters.

At one point, food became so scarce that gunners held up signs to passing Army combat engineers scrawled with the words "Will Shoot for Food."
And while Rumsfield wanders around the country in a heavily armored vehicle supplied by Halliburton, he tells the soldiers "you go to war with the military you have, not the military you want."

After the surge, and once Obama had the reigns, everything became incredibly disorganized.

100% of the people you are whining about, volunteered to fight and die when their commander in chief tells them too.

Obviously you've never been brave enough to sign that dotted line or you'd know that.

blah blah blah. That "patriot" is a liar. Trump did not "dodge the draft."
The patriot was just following the Democratic Party tactic of telling a lie and then ranting based on the lie.
Nor did Trump denigrate anyone in the military, that also is a lie.

Like it or not our military is a volunteer force. They decide to get involved, just like I did.

Combat is a dangerous, but necessary thing. There are bad people in the world that need stopped.

Reagan sent us into Grenada, and that's about it, other than hitting Libya and a few other small events.

Bush 1 sent us into Panama. Bosnia was a UN lead mission and Desert Storm was a worldwide cry of "save Kuwait".

Bush 2 of course sent us in after the WTC bombings, and our intelligence agencies saying they had WMD's.

Other than Muslim countries starting **** constantly, our primary response has always been as a reaction to their constant aggression.

Obama spent the last 8 years turning the military into a tea-party, and not the good kind.

Some snowflakes refuse to train. They are given an article 15 and discharged with a Ch 11 because they just flat out refuse. Why the F would I want them to be forced to stay? They'll just go crazy and turn the gun on us.

Keep the snowflakes out. Also, it wouldn't be just males. If something of that magnitude were created, it'd be gender equal as our generals have made clear.

Because they volunteered that gives the CIC the authority to send them off to die unprepared? Sheep like you are just one of the reasons this country is going to hell.

BTW, I served 62-65. A brother of mine served 66-90, served in Vietnam, and the Gulf War, and another brother served in the Army Rangers in the Gulf War. A grandson was killed in one of those poorly armored Humvees in an IED attack 6 months after he turned 21.

Take your asinine remark, and shove it.

Boo hoo, we didn't have coloring books and HBO either.

Everyone who went on the line got a full set of 782 gear, including those things you said we didn't have, so I don't know in what liberal basement that fiction was invented.

"stripping dead bodies for gear"

About the only thing we ran out of regularly was toilet paper.

Sorry, those of us that serve will have a hard time believing you.

Every single soldier in my military signed up to fight, to shoot, to obey, to die. Quit your whining

I telling it like it is, that standards have been lowered under Obama. Letting in gays, trying to get women into ground combat jobs almost all of them are not to task for.

Forcing someone to obey orders against their will, and to die for them without signing up. It's a form of slavery. Have you watched Band of Brothers on HBO? The first episode has a few scenes that depict the true evils of it.

The draft is a form of slavery

It's not that they aren't tasked, it's that they should be using the male PT standard and not the female ones. Having lowered standards for women in combat roles is what will destroy the military. Everyone should operate on the same PT scare across the board
