It's been a few days and reality is beginning to sink in :) The best part of it is, the left could have strategically sacrificed a few no name dems and pile driven this in to law, forever released themselves from liability and like the election never seen it coming!

Political ego is clearly more important than the human toll. The Republicans had no plan after whining for 6 years.

Obamacare was a compromise to get something in place that would include MORE Americans and slow rising healthcare costs. Didn't you know that?

See it's more then just taking insurance companies out of the equation. If you want to agree on that we can talk about some kind of Medicare for all later. Deal with the cost issue first.

You better get working on rewriting that constitution. Private property is protected, its not going to happen.

The 2008 meltdown began in 1933! Politically, we all had a finger in that crap pie, CONSUMERS TOO! By the time Bushy and devil spawn made the scene nothing or no one could have possibly stopped it!

The solution is simple enough. Trump doesn't have the balls for it.

What does private property have to do with Medicare?

Pelosi is proof positive that the left gravitate to the mentally fractured! Nan is just the tip of the Island, take Hank Johnson, now that's the Democrat party to a "T" and he still occupying the seat :)

You need to make the entire healthcare industry public for it to work. It's the cornerstone of SP.

Single payer private delivery works. The VA doesn't work.. Its 35 to 46% higher than private and Medicare.

If the cost are down it could. But you can't drive prices down with out taking control. The market would still be out of balance.

Compromise? You mean like when BOTH sides get together and add an remove ideas to create a descent product? I don't remember the ACA being like that ;)

No.. like Obama's year old struggle to at least slow the rising costs and get healthcare for thousands of uninsured Americans.

Control the market? Highest and best practice is the control.

How? Say you can't change more then 50$ for a ct scan? It doesn't work that way. Who do you think is going to be writing that legislation? Lobbiests for the healthcare industry, that's who.

France isn't paying to develop the technology. They are benifiting from that. The machine itself costs more in the us.

So who was he compromising with, I'm quite certain Republicans weren't invited to the party? Just out of curiosity, how that struggle going to lower cost? Obarry sold you a bill of no goods, and while blinded by Gruber tactics and Obarry promises they saddled the whole nation with a time released failurecare that will eventually offer no affordable choices and like the Republicans said, you'll have an insurance card an no insurance!

I didn't say LOWER costs.. I said slow rising costs.

I was in the hospital business for many years and we fought to stop exponentially rising costs from the 1980s on..

ACA was a temporary measure.. that needs to be refined or thrown out in favor of single payer private delivery. Obama knew that was the way to go, but how to convince Americans?

The biggest problem here is ignorance and stubbornness.

The MRI was invented by an Armenian American in 1977.. Of course the machine costs more in the US.. Medical school costs 10 times as much as do medical text books.

Right, so how do you control costs when R/D and training is a big part of those costs?
