So obviously none of this can reasonably be considered "recent" as one is from 2016 and one is from 2014. There's probably been a HUGE staff turnover since then, with people retiring and millennials moving in.

They use their security barrier as a shield - this stopped the suicide bombers
They also use their Iron Dome as a shield, this helps stop the rocket fire
