No, it is not part of 'our' culture. Maybe yours, but not mine.

Those currently held in detention camps who have applied for asylum, which is not the same as a concentration camp, are free to leave at any time. This is a point you seem to have artfully avoided acknowledging. But it is the truth, and fact. One cannot do that in a 'concentration' camp.

 

So how many will you be housing, feeding, clothing, and assisting in finding jobs? After, of course, walking them through the proper procedures to obtain their asylum status, their green card, their social security card, their Drivers License, and purchase a car?

I choose not to spend the money on asylum seekers, and instead spend my money on US citizens who need temporary assistance, veterans who need assistance, and find ways to help the homeless who already reside here.

Please send your donations to help those in other countrys to WHO or Unicef, perhaps Russia or Nigeria would appreciate the largess of your money.

You are already trillions in debt and it has nothing to do with socialism. Eventually you will have to stop comparing Venezuela to America because there is little that is true in that meme. Venezuela's troubles are a result of tying so much of the economy to a single commodity, an inability to deal with cronyism and corruption and the policy of sanctions and hostility from an America that feels it has the right to dictate to countries everywhere what kind of economic system they are allowed to have.

Your debt is due to irresponsible tax policies, out of control military spending to prop up an aggressive, belligerent and ultimately failing foreign policy of regime change and war around the world and a political class that lines it's own pockets and that of it's corporate handlers while imposing austerity on ordinary Americans.
