The Japanese are obviously envious of Chinese success.

Historically (1895-1945) China and Korea have been victims of Japanese aggression.

Ha ha ha hee hee hee ho ho ho! You are as ignorant as a frog in the well. Don't you know that many Japanese have also immigrated to other countries such as the US, Brazil and Peru to pursue their dreams as well as to escape the frequent earthquakes and tsunamis in Japan?

If you meet some of them, ask them why they choose to live in other countries.

The first Japanese immigrants arrived in Brazil in 1908. Brazil is home to the largest Japanese population outside of Japan. According to the IBGE, as of 2000 there were between 1.4 and 1.5 million people of Japanese descent in Brazil.

Japanese Peruvians comprise the second largest ethnic Japanese population in Latin America after Brazil (1.5 million). This ethnic group composes today approximately 0.3% of the total population of Peru.

If one fifth to one quarter of mankind could never succeed, the whole of mankind would be doomed.

    1383? You don't say!

This BS remind me of the church here who are claiming lands presenting signatures by Byzantine emperors .

Like in the case of the Falklands Okinawa should belong where the locals want it to belong.

Senkaku is Japan. You want it? Try to take it. An attack on Senkaku is considered as same as an attack against Honshu and will be dealt with.

No, when China did send fishing boats we stopped them with our airforce and coast guard and went violent. If China attacks Senkaku it will be seen as decleration of war against japan and would lead to defensive action. It would also lead the USA into war with china, since uSA already said they view Senkaku as integral part of Japan and our alliance would lead them to help us in such a military conflict.

China would lose its navy within hours, later bombardments of chinese cities could follow.

So then your plan to defend Japan's sovereign territory depends on US military power. Is that right? You're counting on the very same people you despise. That is very funny. Suppose Americans decide they don't care about your little islands.....what then?

We don't depend on USA military power. Japans military is under the top 5 of the world on same stage as the UK. We can deal with that alone. But its good to have allies. IF USA breaks its treaties with us i would consider our alliance as finished. It would also mean that USA can say bye bye to asia and shrink to a regional power with none international renomee left. Your word counts nothing then. Others, like korea or philippines will see that and also make their decissions regarding that issue.

Japan is completely dependent on the US for strategic nuclear deterrence. Without nuclear weapons Japanese military power would be ineffective against China.

china can't even put a rocket on its ramp without Japan noticing it and destroying it before launch, Japans military is 30 decades ahead of China. Beside that japan has the ability to clear the chinese airspace from any flying object. China can't hit Japan while we can chose our targets. The yangtze dam for example. Beside that Japan can go nuclear within months if we chose so. China is aware for that. They already calmed the conflict diwn because they saw we would go to the absolute limit. You don 't understand asian politics. Its about testing. I wouldn 't mind to kill 600 million chinese for senkaku, if it is needed to teach them the lesson. fortunatelly they know the lesson already.

And no, Japanese military power is nothing like that of Britain. The British have nuclear weapons and the means to deliver them, they have ballistic missile submarines, aircraft carriers, tactical nuclear bombers, etc. Japanese on the other hand don't posses the capability to project power outside their own territory.

If many Japanese think like you then I think our leaders should consider forming an alliance with China.

I would say Japan's actual military power is about equal to Italian military forces......but not really because even Italy has aircraft carriers.

lol, you talk about creatures that i don´t even see as equal human beings. Japan has air supperiority about China. There was also an interesting approach to simply bombard the yangtze dam and reduce china population by 1/3 withing 24 hours. What we need against China is to show the brutality. That works since 2660 years. Whenever China looked strange at us we cut them to small pieces. They collapse very fast then because they have no internal support.

A few hydrogen bombs on high populated cities should do the rest. After all Japan is capable to build hydrogen bombs within a few weeks while China is unable to even get the Deuterium.

Look at the numbers, the quality of your US designed equipment won't be enough to overcome battle attrition. Japan would be lucky to defend it's own territory, there would be no chance of a successful attack on China.

Trust me, they don't. He's a radical right-wing conservative nationalist--a modern day Yukio Mishima (who wound up gutting himself as soon as he realized nobody took him seriously in Japan). This guy no more represents the current Japanese mentality than you do.

No wonder you are as ignorant as a frog in the well. Whatever history you and other students study in Japanese schools mentions nothing or little about Japanese military defeats but praises and sings the glory of Japanese military misadventures.

Please read the following excerpts from "Battle of Baekgang" at http://english.turkcebilgi.com/Battle+of+Baekgang

"The Battle of Baekgang (663 A.D.) was Japan's greatest defeat in its premodern history. Japan's losses were enormous and there would be no state-sponsored troop deployments to Korea for over 900 years.....Due to the scale and severity of their defeat, the Yamato court would fear an invasion from Tang or Silla or both and built a huge network of shore fortifications throughout the rest of the 600's.....

The battle also introduces interesting questions regarding Japan's relations with the Korean states and their level of development at the time. For example—why did the Japanese fare so badly against the Tang army? According to several scholars, it is clear that in the 7th century, the Chinese had better weapons and more importantly, their troops and officers were better trained and disciplined...."
