Obviously, you, too, are non-military. I was discussing the chain of command in the military. I was showing how Trump's decision interfered with the chain of command, and Scalise's idea that troop moral improved because junior officers were acquitted of murder is perfectly ludicrous.

Trump did it on purpose to weaken our military. Everything Trump does pleases Putin to no end. Scalise is just dumb enough to play along because he is running for reelection and because he is an idiot who knows nothing about the military.

1) Increases in U.S. defense spending.
2) Expansion of U.S. missile defense.
3) The U.S. forces in Syria killing a couple of hundred of Russian mercenaries in a single incident.
4) The U.S. trying to kill the deal Turkey has made for the S-400 SAMs.
5) Pressing fellow NATO members to increase their defense spending and station more military forces in Eastern Europe.
