She seems like the ideal Democratic candidate to me

Biggest complaint I've seen so far is that she is too nice which is a problem

But she did get Justice Kavanagh to apologize to her for Behaving Badly

By the way I heard there might be 40 Democratic candidates that sounds like a bit of a circus in a parade to me

I can't believe there's 40 people that want to be president after what they are going to get handed to them if they win

She could get voters excited and motivated, and could no doubt appeal to the vast majority of us who are rational (not MAGA fanatics). As a bonus, she's from my home state. It will be interesting if she goes for it. I'd be curious to hear her policy positions as a presidential hopeful, and I'd love to see her put the suggestion of countering MAGA's negative emotion with positive emotion into action. I wonder how well it work. I expect she is fundamentally correct about that, though. Whoever runs will have to counter MAGA's hate and lies with something positive. In fact, they need to be people of action themselves. Put the Progressive foot forward. Couple that positive emotion with positive action. MAGA ran not just on negative emotion, but on action. It's important to counter the entirety and, where possible, exceed MAGA. Offer better action and more action. Offer informed, rational, comprehensive, bipartisan action. The emotion can and will come along with that.

 

I believe the latest polls show that three white men are in top tier now. Biden, Saunders and Beto. Black woman support Tamala Harris by 85%. Klobuchar is one of the more sensible Democrats. (Which means she doesn't have a chance)

 

She would be a shoo-in if she would start wearing a MAGA hat.

Amy Klobuchar is about as interesting as day old bread. She has ditched her glasses and put on better clothes but her record in Congress is signing on to bills like should babies be kept warm or let's create a national day off for pet lovers.
Her Kavanaugh rage against beer drinking came from her father Jim Klobuchar, a prominent newswriter back in the day when people actually read a newspaper, who had a very public longtime battle with alcoholism. Without her father's name, she would still be back in the courtroom defending parking ticket violations.

Obviously Klobuchar is not cleaning herself up for the conservative vote so somebody must have an issue with the way her fellow democrat party members perceive her appearance. Kind of like Fauxohantos just mking a video of herself opening a beer, or Robert Francis O'Rourke arriving on a skateboard, It's little things like that that keep democrats glued to CNN and MSNBC. God bless them as I find it all too entertaining.
As for Klobuchar actually getting the nomination? I would not count on that ever happening. Note the DNC is already trying to throw Bernie Freeshit Sanders under the bus because he is too old and grumpy. The democrat challenge group of thirty or more each trying to out-liberal the other is going to make that shitstorm of Republicans on the stage in 2016 look almost sane by comparison. I can't wait.

 

Never knew much about her till the hearings and she was not impressive. Moren of the same old liberal pabulum "wouldn't it be nice if people didn't have to work and we the government gave them everything.......oh lets just do it then" nonsense.

 

I have known her since she entered the Senate. She is a nice lady with an axe to grind with respect to alcoholics. Some dems think she is perfect because she is a milktoast with no skeletons in her closet. All said, she would probably make a great VP as she would never offer an opinion that is controversial. Kavanaugh handled her like a pro.
