Antarctic sea ice continues to grow beyond record coverage

It's freezing because it's warming.

The alarm bell Obama hears must be "Ice Ahead" because...sea ice in the south pole covered more than 20 million square kilometers for the first time since records began. I can't believe what a bunch of dull tools in the shed these folks are. Even in the face of all the stable temperature and increasing arctic ice these folks still stick to the Global Warming script....that they now call "Climate Change" because they were proven so very wrong on "Global Warming". The answer is to move the goal post and call it something that can't be proven wrong. If it weren't so sad, it might almost be funny.

 

That's what modern scientism has come to, telling people that if they don't believe we have more ice because it's getting warmer then they must be dumb.

Pointless trying to explain this stuff to conservatives; as far as they're concerned a cold, snowy winter means there's no warming. That's about it.

I am sick of cold winters. We moved to FL to be warm but the past 3 years we've been using the heat more then ever.

I'd like a little global warming to be directed our way.

I'm not here to educate you. It really isn't all that complicated; but you need to read more than the bolded parts of links if you want to learn...

 

Don't even bother to try to help Global Warming Deniers understand the science because to them it is a POLITICAL ISSUE.

I have attempted to give these people some inside information which is not classified about what the U.S. Military and even the Russian Military has been doing as far as Global Warming is concerned but these people will simply keep denying it until it bites them in the ass.

Here is a CLUE for some of you folks who do not think we have a very big problem.

Within a short number of years there will no longer be Arctic Northern Polar Sea Ice during the summer.

Within less than 20 years there will no longer be Arctic Northern Sea Ice YEAR ROUND.

What does this mean?

Well...as far as the Economic and Military as well as Oil and Gas exploitation I can tell you folks this AND ANYONE CAN VERIFY WHAT I SAY WITH A SEARCH.

The Russian's are so eager to start drilling in soon to be Liquid Water Year Round Arctic Ocean areas....they even sent a DEEP DIVING MINI-SUB that actually went to the bottom of this area of the Arctic Ocean Floor and the SUB'S ROBOTIC ARM PLANTED A SMALL RUSSIAN FLAG UNDERWATER AT THE BOTTOM OF THE SEA in an area the Russian's want to claim as part of Russia's Territorial Waters because of the large amount of oil and natural gas there.

The U.S. Military is deciding which Nimitz Class Carrier to COLD WEATHER REFIT as the U.S. Navy is not certain it want's to refit the Nimitz which will be replaced by the new Ford Class Stealth Carriers starting with CVN-78 Gerald R. Ford....CVN-79 J.F.K.....and CVN-80 Enterprise.

As an older Nimitz class and possibly the Nimitz herself will be refitted as a Cold Weather Carrier along with other Cold Weather Carrier Cruisers, Destroyers, Frigates and Subs.

The reason for this is to allow the U.S. Navy to Patrol and keep safe the Arctic Ocean.

So...given all this is happening NOW....how do they continue to deny it?

The ONLY reason they are denying it is easy to explain; in their simplistic little minds AGW is a global plot to wrest cash from their wallets-and we all know how conservatives adore their money...
Ask them, as I have done repeatedly, to quantify how much an ongoing strategy like the Montreal Protocol is costing them, and they're at a loss to come up with a response. They see AGW as a 'liberal' issue so, for them, opposition comes as naturally as the morning dump.

 

I got a big laugh out of this one member who posts without a LINK of course...this graph that is showing World CO2 and CH4 levels GOING DOWN and another graph showing Temps going down....then I look at the side of these graphs and I see two tiny...so small I could barely read them but the letters were BP....as in BRITISH PETROLEUM!!! LOL!!!

Like I am going to trust BP to provide data that is unbiased!! LOL!!!

This site is the CDIAC....Carbon Dioxide Information Analysis Center which is part of the DEPT. OF ENERGY from their OAK RIDGE NATIONAL LABORATORIES OFFICE OF SCIENCE.

This DOE website provides the Climatology data that is used by the U.S. Military to develop Military Contingency Plans which deal with Global Warming Issues and specifically PACIFIC ISLAND EVACUATION PLANS....U.S. MILITARY ACTION TO PREVENT MASSIVE CIVIL WARS IN INDIA AND BANGLADESH as well as in other low lying areas of the world.

This data is the ONLY data that can be said to be unbiased and they use over 100,000 year old Ice Core data which shows CO2 and CH4 Levels to be higher in PPM NOW than at any time in that 100,000 years.

Warming is colder......

You've been explained the difference between global warming and climate change so many times it's nauseating by now. You just refuse to believe you don't know everything about this issue. And you clearly do not.

So once again for the people reading this (not you because you refuse to listen and learn), global warming refers to the rising average global temperature. Climate change refers to the effects on the climate that rise in temperature causes. In this case the rise in the global average temperature causes the ice shelf in Antarctica to melt, decreasing the salt content of the water. As we all should know from grade school science, fresh water freezes at a higher temperature than salt water does. So decreasing the salt content of the water surrounding Antarctica would cause more sea ice to form in the area.

 

I just refuse to use the "re-branded" name for a scam.

Had we bought into it back in 1997, we'd never stop paying the scam ransom.

So there's no ocean currents in Antarctica's waters? At the rate of dilution the fresh water, due to fresh water ice taking longer to melt in sea water, it is quickly dispersed and swept away into the rest of the ocean.

 

Any data to back this up?

 

The ONLY viable data as far as CO2 and CH4 emmisions is the CDIAC.

Same data the U.S. Military used to create Global Warming Contingency Plans.

Global Warming is responsible for much larger amounts of Water Vapor in the atmosphere which in turn is responsible for larger and stronger storms and more snow.

However warmer ocean temps. are causing the entire Arctic Ocean Ice Cap to melt and it will be completely gone within 2 decades.

Did you get a government credit for turning these in?

 

The problem at this point has already gone past a tipping point....as rising temps. are now causing Gel Form CH4 to bubble up and out of Tundra, Arctic Lakes and from the bottom of all oceans of the world.

CH4 gas holds heat in our atmosphere at a rate 71 times greater than CO2.

Thus containment and planning seem to be the only options at this point.
