When did I condone the rioters and protestors, many of whom were wearing masks? The problem there is it's not a call for crime until it IS a call for crime, and you never know when it will be a call for crime, and when it turns into a call for crime, then you really, really need a cop, and not a social worker.

So what you'd need is just as many cops, and a bunch of social workers and mental health people to ride around with the cops.

You're not going to get that by slashing police force budgets, that's for sure.

Social workers instead of cops is a recipe for disaster.

 

Yes the suggestion that the cut off all cell phone service to the area. Not that it is doing them any good. A car repair shop was broken into last night by some of the "occupiers" the shop owner was calling 911 and the police and fire were ordered not to respond. The "security forces" from the occupation then forced their way into the shop and grabbed the guy and took him outside to interrogate him and then proceeded to beat the crap out of him. OH that's right this is about alleged police brutality and stopping violence.

We own the responsibility to defend ourself. The police have never been liable for failing to defend citizens.

The 2nd Amen is to protect against a tyrannical govt, not criminals. The right to defend oneself against crime and deadly harm is inherent to being alive. No law needed to dictate such.

Its amazing you would bring this up as the left is protesting Trump as a tyrant who may refuse to leave office. And you still wonder why we “still need” a 2nd Amen. Talk about being lost in your own argument...
