What about the SRY gene? That's the specific gene on the Y chromosome that triggers the changes into male. It can occasionally detach itself from the Y chromosome and also possibly attach itself to an X chromosome. So a person could be chromosomally female, but genetically and physically male. So what are they?

Also not necessarily a mutation. There are conditions where one is born physically female but is XY with the SRY present, but the SRY never activated.

this is the same as female and male prisons, we can't put males with females and visa versa

I'm struggling to think of a logical category division you could make (aside from the obvious and already-in-wide-use biological sex divisions) that would allow some categories to be dominated by females. Weight classes, like in boxing, would end up with every weight class being dominated by men. Same with height. I suppose you could try some metric like testosterone levels, but that's really just a stand-in for the classic male & female leagues. Pretty much any athletic competition where men and women compete, the men will win most events most of the time. Like, to the point that it would be discouraging to be a female competitor.

If I could have played girls softball in high school, I would have been all-county and had my picture in the newspaper.

Why all the hatred for boys who want to play girls’ sports? I thought there were no differences between genders. That’s what liberalism has told us for 50 years.

 

Skill level would be a good starting point. I don't follow sports enough to be able to determine what such metrics would be and how to balance them. It can even be as some as men of X weight and women of Y weight are compatible. It doesn't have to be all individuals of 150 lb are equal. And the metric for each sport could easily be different.

 

BMI takes into account muscle mass. Its a mechanism for determining how much muscle/ fat you have in your body.

 

XY’s who want to compete with XX’s are despicable.

 

That assumes they know they are XY.

 

It doesn’t matter what they “know”. It matters what they “are”. A routine test will show XX or XY.

My understanding of general relativity asserts that a perfectly proper physics can be made with a stationary earth. Indeed a perfectly proper physics can be made with the earth being a hollow sphere with ourselves living on the inside of the sphere.

They are peculiar physics which are difficult to calculate in, though.

Just to be clear, a person who is born with a vagina, but has a Y chromosome, but that chromosome is missing the SRY gene, they are male, even if they don't know it.

What you have is a psychological affliction of dysphoria. Perhaps a form of schizophrenia . Not much digfetrnt from the messiah complrc. Some mentally ill believe they are Christ. Justice Department Jumps Into The Trans Athlete Question

There’s still a federal lawsuit grinding its way through the system involving the families of three female high school athletes in Connecticut who are suing to prevent transgender students (boys who “identify” as girls) from competing in girls’ athletic competitions. Attorney General William Barr has filed a statement of interest on behalf of the Justice Department in support of the plaintiffs.

Connecticut Interscholastic Athletic Conference allows athletes to compete as the gender with which they identify, arguing it is following a state law that requires high school students be treated according to their gender identity, claiming it's in accordance with Title IX, the federal law that allows girls equal educational opportunities, including in athletics.

Which, of course, is ridiculous.

Barr is telling the Connecticut Interscholastic Athletic Conference that citing Title IX as the rationale for their policy of allowing transgender students to dominate the girls’ track and field events in that state ignores the underlying reality that being forced to physically compete with genetic men “deprives those women of the single-sex athletic competitions that are one of the marquee accomplishments of Title IX.”

We can tell whether 30,000 year old fossils of humans are MALE or FEMALE with no information on how they identified because their fundamental bone structure is distinctive and generally conveys a competitive physical advantage to genetic males.
