you did not answer this question...

When someone tells a cop they are afraid to get out of their car, is the proper response from the cop "you should be"?

So is this mass exodus of police forces in these Democrat cities not registering? While peaceful protestors burn down their cities, the cops are told not to interfere or they will be held accountable.

Now on felony stops, if someone doesn't comply with your order to exit the vehicle, you can't force compliance? Hows that going to work for the criminals who decide they don't have to comply either.
When the day comes when you're city is run by criminals because you have no police that will protect you, you will be singing a different tune then.

This was not a felony stop, this was a stop because they did not see his Temp tag, which was clearly visible in the BodyCam of the cop once the car was stopped. And assuming the human eye is better than that bodycam, they should have said "oh, now we see your Temp tag, have a nice night".

Most likely meaning the cop thinks something is up because you won't comply with a very simple request to exit the car. I imagine he thinks you are hiding something.
Why else would you refuse to exit the vehicle? And don't give me this BS about an Army officer being scarred of cops. If he's that easy to intimidate then he shouldn't be in the Army in the first place.

Its more likely you have never served a day in uniform in the service of others. You wouldn't know what that means. So you make whatever childish claims makes you feel better about yourself.

Shows how much you actually know. Even the dispatcher on the video called it in as a felony stop. Get educated before getting egg on your face.

SOP of felony stops is to have the driver exit the vehicle no matter how much you imagination comes into play. Sorry

Wrong again, at least you are consistent.

20 years in the US Marine Corps. Retired as a Gunnery Sergeant of Marines...and even in the Marines I did not blindly follow each and every order given me.

He was scared of the fact that cops kill black men all the time and he was afraid he was next. He is alive because he was smart enough to go to a well-lighted gas station.

And the not-so-subtle threat of death by first telling him to exist the vehicle, then telling him he should be afraid to ride the lighting if he exists the vehicle.

Seems like the threat of death is pretty intimidating for black people. White people as well, as the cops executed that one white dude in a hotel hallway some years back by giving him all sorts of conflicting commands when it was obvious he was ******** himself from fright.

It was a felony stop due to the missing tag indicating the car could have been stolen, then the tag was spotted and that should have been the end of it.

Clearly he was not a coward since he did not blindly comply with the order.

Why is it an either/or with you? I already stated earlier that if after telling the guy why he was stopped, and he has no explanation, and refuses to comply, then at that point they should escalate force. Just a LITTLE common sense isn't too much to ask of police officers.

I don't agree with a lot of the anti police officer sentiment going on in many cities either, but this is not that, and not being able to tell the difference is just as damaging to police as what is happening in some cities.

So make sure you always refuse to comply with an officer in the field because you are always safer by doing so. lol

This is more common on this forum than any I have been on. Never seen anything like it.

Do you have any idea why it was classified as a "felony stop"?

Police reform is coming, buddy. New Mexico has already zapped qualified immunity; more will, and likely Biden will sign a bill for that.

Then we will see how trigger happy cops are when they will be personally responsible for doing a nice ol fashion kill’n for the sake of power. Personal Bankruptcy.

I think I wasn't there so I don't know exactly what happened. Listening to one side of the story is never adequate.

You flip flop more than Biden does. Anything else you going to flip flop on. You don't even know what constitutes a felony stop.

He was pulled over because the car did not have a tag. Once stopped it was seen that the car did indeed have a tag.

That should have been the end of the event.
