If people are sincerely interested in election security it's a no brainer. Nobody should be offended if they're honest.

You have to go deep to see what an environmental law can do and how it impacts lives. I know that the lives of firefighters aren't equal to the California Salmon for instance.

Why are you so determined to maintain the "us vs them" labelling even as you're agreeing on some policies. You probably agree with those you'd call "radical left" on loads of things, you'll just never find out as long as you keep on treating each other as the enemy.

Why not just talk about policies, without any labels or parties involved?

Just curious about number 3 could you expand on this. What laws, what animals, what has been proposed or not been proposed?

Trump should have listened to bannon in regards to tax cuts. And other things. Bannon is still the populist voice of sanity . You hear echos of fdr but with a conservative pragmatism .

The second amendment is just fine Keep your paws off of rights that we died and fought to protect from the folks like you.

We have a people problem not a gun problem.

Takes intelligence to know the difference .

People loading up on guns unlike what it was like in my youth is caused by the dems. Everytime the dems go after guns people start buying them! A natural reaction to the dem threat to the bill of rights.

Yes Trump allowed hunters to kill bears and cubs in hibernation and did zero to block American big game trophy hunters against elephants

He later reversed policies ..thank god

If 99% of neighborhoods are safe, why do we need so many guns?

A PTSD sufferer who drinks far too much, is prone to fits of physical rage, is anti-social...

Yea..you should have lots of guns. What could possibly go wrong

Same here. I am fine with more stringent background checks and the more powerful the weapon, the harder it should be to obtain. Handgun? Thorough background check. More powerful, higher caliber, higher capacity magazine weapons, background check plus a psychological evaluation. We should not ban any gun, just do a much better job vetting who gets them.

On environment. We need to protect wildlife and have a strategy (realistic one) to transition to renewable energy in next few decades.

I believe drugs and prostitution should be legalized. Why do we jail women who want to sell their bodies? That is their decision and men who want to pay for sex? Seems quite backwards to me. Drugs? Let people take whatever they want to take and deal with the consequences. It’s not like everyone is going to find it rewarding in long run, most will not succumb to the perils of addiction.

On economy though, i’m conservative. The government should stay the h out of private sector and not go after the rich, who actually are the ones who make the economy work. Take 1 million bill gates vs 1 million lazy, uneducated, unproductive people and it’s not even debatable which group will do better. Let the private sector do it’s thing...

I support law enforcement and secure borders, illegals OUT or should be here documented and working.

School choice is a big one, kids should have choices other than the failed public schools

peace through strength. Be strong but don’t police the world

I'm about as average of a person there is...I don't even qualify as abusing alcohol based on the medical definition. Which if that's the definition we want to use then virtually every male between the ages of 18-40 is an alcoholic. My physical bouts of rage equate to yelling at the TV when the Saints lose or make dumb plays. I'm anti-social because of my job and being a rare single guy in an age bracket where most of my coworkers have teenage kids and wives who they would rather spend their extremely limited amount of free time with over me.

Case in point about why most pro gun folks don't support Red Flag laws. If you think I shouldn't have guns then pretty much nobody who owns guns should have guns. And if my drinking equates to "drinks far too much" and my yelling at the TV during football games equates to "fits of physical rage" then you better pick up the phone and Red Flag every single US Army Soldier that you ever meet because virtually all of them have guns and I'm old now...Young troops are WAY WORSE than I am in regards to anything I mentioned by a long shot.

The drug laws are incomprehensible to me. Why would anyone have a say on anything a person wants to consume? A person can get high on many legal things like even glue sniffing, what about addictions to things even doctors prescribe? If someone wants to take heroin or coke, it’s their f problem just as alcohol, which is probably the most dangerous drug ever to mankind, but legal. Do you realize the problems we had when alcohol was illegal? The MOB was rampant, at it’s peak. Today, cociane, heroin, majiriana, meth etc.. have birthed the biggest and most dangerous gangs and criminal enterprises the world has ever seen. Heard of MS13? Sinoloa cartel? Los zetas? they rival ISIS with their barbarism, cutting heads and acid melting people, the Mexican army can’t even defeat them they are so powerful. Yeah, illegal drugs have created these incredibly powerful groups and gangs all over the world, responsible for millions of deaths over the years... the whole thing is incomprehensible to me.

All true but if President Trump were remove the Federal laws on pot and leave it to the states, he would lock up the election today.
