The far more relevant question is "who pays you to perform your research?"

And btw, what exactly are these "science" degrees?

It is mixed it is mixed. Some might have bursaries or grants some is funded from private enterprise some from think tanks some from private charities and some is self funded particularly undergraduate research

When we are talking climate science the degrees are varied but usually involve the hard sciences. Look for yourself on the University websites it is all open for anyone to see

And what would you suggest we do about it? Especially sine at least one fifth of the problem is deforestation and that is happening in the third world

Woods Hole Ocean Research is privately funded

Look it up for yourself. What? You did not realise that insurance companies would be employing climate scientists? That shipping companies would employ climate scientists? To name just a few

Judith "climate can change by itself" Curry is employed by oil companies predicting hurricanes for off shore oil rigs

I would like for you to tell me what their degrees are since you were so arrogant about it.

If they are gainfully employed why would they be whining about needing funding? I couldn't find out how many people the Woods Hole Ocean Research actually employed but it didn't look like that many...

Unless China and India can be convinced to give up industrialization, I don't think there is much that can be done in terms of curtailing emissions.

Jesus ****ing christ! Did he or did he not say it? What does it matter who asked him the question.

Thr leftists on this forum seem incapable of making real arguments nor simply shutting their mouths when the evidence is irrefutable. When faced with a dead to rights caught on tape they question the source.

There are a LOT of scientists out there and some of the research only governments can afford. Who do you think funded the large Hadron Collider?

They have what, 1.5 billion people? And India adds another billion. 2.5 billion people living in countries that hope to reach the same industrialization that we do.

Statement was that India and china were not going to action climate change. I proved that they are committed to doing so

You want me I try and prove that China in particular is not going to action the problems?

I think you reported me over me asking if it is about money.

    I suggest this.

If you think it is trees, make a movement to plant trees.
We in the USA reversed our tree losses by the 1920s so it can be done.

No and I have no intention of spending hours on what is a strawman argument. You want to debate this then do some basic research yourself

Obama signed it too. Problem finished. Paris fixed all of your problems. With a weak agreement.

A couple of sickly hedges at a roadside is NOT going to replace the thousands of hectares being stripped of vegetation currently
