Well it seems the survivors/victims of this tragic event have turned against the useless talk of "thoughts and prayers" from Trump. These kids certainly have a point. It's sad they appear more wise than grown adults, then again they aren't getting payed off by a huge organization.

I'm going to assume the response to this will be to attack the survivors of a horrific school shooting, and defend the NRA.

The far right has serious problems.

It appears a majority of Americans agree with these students.

Any of these survivors share any ideas for change, or are they just spouting liberal talking points?

How about you actually have human emotions instead of denying the intellectual agency of these kids?

It was just a rally. Even Trump, someone running as President, didn't go much into specifics in his rallies.

They seem to want politicians to pass common sense gun laws or really just doing anything at this point. It's up to the people who have careers in those things to get the specifics right.

But yeah, you're right on queue for attacking the survivors of a horrific shooting.

Just read the one girls entire speech. Highly doubtful she wrote it. But I was right, just talking points.

She offered zero solutions, except to mention Australia 'introducing gun safety'.

If people don't have guns what will they use as weapons against home invaders or when the race war breaks out?

Did any of them actually blame the shooter?

Just a reminder he passed a background check and the FBI had to "apologize" for not following up with a tip that he was planning this.. But by all means blame those that had nothing to do with it.

It will go in one ear and out the other.

And, in a few months we'll be back here after the NEXT shooting (once again being subjected to the 2ND Amendment Huggers copypasta talking points).

So here we have another protest of folks who do not know what they want. It is understandable they are upset but if you want to protest something it would help to be specific about what you want.

It might be a good idea to stock up on large marshmallows. The large ones hurt more than the small ones.

Better gun laws could have helped.

So these people had no thoughts about gun laws until something happened to them, is that correct? Yeah, they suffered a tragic event, but in places like Chicago and Baltimore people are killed in far greater numbers with the difference being they're being picked off in smaller numbers per event on an almost daily basis and those high murder totals don't get national attention - not even among black leaders and gun control advocates. The only thing I can think about this is that these people only care when white students are murdered and don't give a crap when blacks are, otherwise they would have had this rally years ago.

Ok, name the law that would have prevented this. We already have a law against killing people and that didn't prevent anything.

Like what be specific and what gun law would have had the FBI actually do something when they were told he was planning this.

How? It is already illegal to murder. It is already illegal to bring firearms on school property.

Yep, when they murder each other in droves in Chicago and Baltimore it's the fault of no jobs, poverty and environmental racism.

No one ever said liberal propaganda had no effect or that the libs in Hollywood glorifying gun violence with totally unrealistic gun use doesn’t have an effect.

That is not what gets me

What gets me is the attitude of " I dont care how many kids get killed so long as I do not have to fill in any paperwork when I buy a gun - or take any responsibilty as owner of same"
