It would be nice if the FBI did its job once in a while. They were given info on a silver platter about Cruz and they did nothing. They were busy burying a solid case against Hillary and building a bogus case against Trump.

I'm all for keeping guns from people with mental issues. Would the ACLU be on board with that? Will they defend the mentally impaired against an "impingement on their rights"?

 

Doesn't anyone think it's odd that we protect the president with guns? Protect entertainers and politician with guns. Protect banks with guns. Protect state and federal buildings, courthouses, etc with guns. Yet we protect schools with a 'Gun Free Zone' sign.

 

I went to the Fox site (since you didn't provide a link to what you were talking about...?). I tried to search for things like "NRA money laundering", "NRA helps Russia".... Didn't find a thing. Got anything?

Anyway, everybody's big 'rage' notwithstanding, though, the Left can try to make 'guns' the villains in this whole thing, but, guns don't pick their targets or pull their own triggers. Big surprise, huh...?

Hint: if by some miracle, somebody at the FBI had intercepted this Cruz monster before he murdered all those people, they would surely have used a ... (dare I say it) ... GUN to force him to surrender. Or, they could have done us all a big favor and simply put two in the chest and one in the head, like they were taught back in just about any American police academy....

 

Florida is one of the states where any type of gun control is not going to happen, certainly in the foreseeable future. If anything there will be fewer limits on guns in the future. So it does not really matter if these protest occur or not. There is nothing to stop these attacks, this is the second one in two years, except pray they don't occur again.

Polls have little to do with the constitution or understanding the law much less the actual issue.

 

If I am willing to kill you and anyone else and screw the consequences of what may happen, how are you going to stop that? You really can't

2) If I am declared mental incompetent, that means I can't legally buy a gun. So that means I'll do a straw purchase or steal one. How you going to stop that?

3) You can't pass unilaterally gun control due to the 2nd amendment, SCOUS will shoot it down and/or congress will be replaced with people who will shoot it down/replace it

 

And there is nothing you will be able to do to stop the gun show loophole or private sells.

 

Your opinions are noted, but I'm merely stating the fact that a majority of Americans, including these survivors/victims, are for common sense gun restrictions.

Parkland, a mostly white and wealthy city, isn't the inner city of Chicago. WHats to gain from reporting more black or Hispanic gangs killed each other again last night. Been going on for decades.

 

The Constitution isn't a problem.

There are some interesting optics in hyper-coverage of these events by leftist media and a total blind-eye on coverage of the daily slaughter in urban areas.

Either white lives matter more or reporting how bad it is in black neighborhoods night after night, is not the kind of message they want to tell the US public. Making it appear that every majority white school needs to live in fear, sells better than how bad it is in the ghettos.

I've seen what some lefties consider "common sense". Let's just say that it has a different meaning to different people.
