Except for the dozens of signed affidavits -- under the penalty of perjury -- by witnesses, participants. The sad fact is we will never know the truth. Half the country seems to care, half the country doesn't. Divided we stand.

Well, even that was enough to get Trump's dandruff up, word is he's livid and considering terminating him.

See, it goes against what Trump is alleging "massive fraud -- Dems stole the election" and the net result of what Barr said there is no evidence of it, only ad hoc issues here and there.

 

Nothing fake about it. Trump's obsequious attitude towards Putin, especially since he said "Russia, if you are listening..." and Eric said all the Trump money is coming from Russia, and Team Trump meeting with russian spies during the campaign, is enough to arouse suspicion. Heck, if the FBI didn't investigate Trump they would have been derelict in their duty.

The impeachment wasn't allowed to come to fruition due to a pliant repub senate afraid of being primaried by Trump and his mean tweets.

No one is cheating, and in fact, what Trump is doing is trying to steal the election via undermining public confidence in democracy, which is subversive and as anti-American as it gets.

All without supporting evidence and none supported by plaintiffs' arguments (they don't even allege fraud by their own admission), the courts (multiple judicial opinions), the DOJ and the FBI. Affidavits are worthless (strictly hearsay) without supporting evidence.

That would be abuse of power. There are many instances of abuse of power by Barr. I don't know if they are prosecutable, though. As well as many instances of obstruction of justice, obstruction of Congressional investigations, and lying under oath. Also no idea if they are prosecutable.

He is due back Jan. 7, 2021 Eastern Byzantine and Orthodox Christmas.

 

Stone wasn't even on my mind when I wrote any of that. But that he disapproved of his sentence being commuted is laughable. I am sure he will be in the huge "pardons" list that Trump is very likely now preparing In which he includes all those who have lied and committed crimes for Trump's personal benefit. And I can bet Stone will not refuse the pardon. But it will be interesting to see if the Supreme Court upholds the notion that a President can use the "pardon" power for personal benefit. I would bet they will, given the heavily partisan court that we have now. But it will be interesting to see how they reason their way out of this in some way that allows Trump to do it, but not any future Democratic President.

As I said, there are many instances of Barr lying.... even under oath. As well as abuse of power. And violation of his oath of office. Whether they are legally prosecutable or not, I have no idea. But any moderately rational person can easily see that he did commit them. And that they have done great damage to this country.

Name these 'lies'. Just because someone calls it a lie, doesn't necessarily make it a lie. The attorney general served honorably, under siege by these actors who wanted to believe a tyrannical government so badly they made interpretations to make it so.
