    Again, I do not object to a 35 billion dollar project that has been researched. And if we had the wall from the beginning, we might still be having this conversation because you are taking the word of a liar and con-man. We don't know what will work. Also, he had agreed to 25 billion dollars last year and changed his mind when little Miller found a way to kill the arrangement.

    Trump is playing politics with Kim at his side. They denigrate Trump's behavior right here in the US of A. His politics are fair game anywhere, especially when he walks away from agreements, disses our allies and sucks up to autocrats. He is a disgrace.

    No they aren’t. We have no way of preventing 100% of illegal immigration. Lol. What you guys aren’t proposing (a wall) wouldn’t have any effect at all on illegal immigration.

    On March 19, CBP officers and agents stopped or apprehended 3,974 immigrants, the highest single day since the beginning of the Trump administration. Six other days since mid-February have topped 3,595, surpassing the daily average of 3,530 in fiscal year 2006.

    Those seven days are the highest on record since President Donald Trump took office, a DHS official told NBC News, and they have all been recorded over the past six weeks.

    Well it's a different story than it was two years ago, even last year.

    No, it’s not a different story. Breaking a precious record by a few does not an emergency make.

    It’s why you guys never do anything about it, even when you have complete control of Congress and the whites house.

    It’s nothing more than political talking points at rallies for you guys.

    It's 2019. I would think that someone who posts on a political forum would be aware that the GOP has been in a state of civil war for almost a decade. The insurgents even nominated a candidate who is, for all practical purposes, is an independent. So for the first two years of Trump's presidency, we had a de facto independent as President with an establishment GOP (the same one that crushed the Tea Party) in charge of Congress.

    Did you fall asleep in 2010 and just wake up?

    They didn’t need 60 votes. They could have used reconciliation. But they had to give their rich donors a welfare handout, instead of doing something productive for the country, like addressing this “national emergency”.
